Week 2 of the NFL season features what could be an intriguing matchup between the New York Jets (0-1) and Tennessee Titans (0-1). These AFC opponents will each be looking to overcome disappointing Week 1 losses when they take the field on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. ET.
The Jets fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, struggling on both ends of the field en route to a 32-19 defeat. Meanwhile, the Titans blew a 17-point lead in their 24-17 loss to rookie Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears.
With the stage set, let’s take a look at the latest Jets vs Titans odds for Week 2, as well as my best bets and predictions.

Jets vs Titans Prediction
Jets 23, Titans 15
The Jets had trouble getting things going against the 49ers, but they should have more success moving the ball in Tennessee. The Titans limited the Bears to just 148 total yards in their Week 1 loss, but that had a lot more to do with the debut of a rookie QB than anything else.
Aaron Rodgers is a seasoned veteran, and although he wasn’t great in his first action of the year, either, New York should only improve from here. A meeting with Tennessee is an excellent opportunity for this team to establish the offense and get quality production on the ground and through the air.
Even if the Jets run into problems again, it’s hard to feel optimistic about Will Levis and the Titans doing much of anything against this New York defense. Tennessee registered a mere 104 passing yards in the season opener, and Tony Pollard, while a solid RB, isn’t going to win you a game on his own.
Expect the Jets to pull through and pick up their first victory of the season in a low-scoring game.
Sportsbook Play of the Day
Jets vs Titans Best Bets
Jets -3.5 (-108) @ Titans
This line feels a little disrespectful to New York. Sure, the Jets didn’t have their best outing against the 49ers, but San Francisco ranks near the top of the Super Bowl odds for a reason. Winning that game was always going to be a challenge.
The Titans will be motivated after losing in embarrassing fashion to the Bears, but they lack the talent to keep up with New York. Levis couldn’t figure out Chicago’s secondary, and things won’t get any easier against Sauce Gardner and the rest of the Jets’ defensive backs.
Look for New York to recover with a comfortable win and make this your NFL bet of the day.
Under 40.5 Points (-110)
This is the fourth-lowest total on the board this week, but it’s warranted. The Jets and Titans combined to score 36 points in Week 1, and Tennessee will be facing a much tougher defense this time around — albeit at home.
New York might push for some higher totals as the season progresses, but until we see this team really light it up, I won’t think twice about betting Unders.
