- x2 Chiefs (Home, Away)
- x2 Chargers (Home, Away)
- @ Browns, Cowboys, Colts, Giants, Steelers
- vs. Ravens, Bengals, Dolphins, Bears, Eagles, Football Team
The Las Vegas Raiders seem to be a team that either vastly exceeds expectations or underperforms. This year, the oddsmakers have them finishing considerably below .500, giving them plenty of room to surpass their projections. Their schedule isn’t daunting, either, which also helps.
While their roster won’t blow anyone away, the Raiders feature a potent offense led by Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, and Henry Ruggs III. The offensive line is passable with Richie Incognito at full health and surprise standout Kolton Miller excelling in pass protection. The loss of Trent Brown hurts, but Las Vegas still has enough blocking talent to give Carr time in the pocket.
There’s not as much depth on defense, which projects to be a weakness for Las Vegas. The addition of Yannick Ngakoue helps, but the Raiders figure to be involved in plenty of shootouts again after yielding the NFL’s third-most points per game last year. They aren’t balanced enough to overcome their defensive shortcomings, but still have enough offensive firepower to be competitive.
Raiders 2021 Win Total Bet Pick Prediction
Raiders To Win Over 7 Games in 2021-2022 NFL Season (-110)
The Raiders aren’t a perfect team by any means, but I do think the line of 7 is a bit low. As mentioned, Las Vegas tends to be volatile, so this one could end up going either way. With the extra game this season, though, I like their odds of hitting on the over.
