Gov. Cooper signed the bill passing the sports betting bill into law on June 14, and the state will launch mobile, online and retail sports betting within 12 months.

It remains to be seen how many operators will receive licensing in the state, but you can be sure that a number of sportsbooks will apply to claim their market share in the state of North Carolina.

The over 10 million residents of North Carolina must wait no longer — legal, regulated sports betting is on the way.

Gov. Roy Cooper signed the Sports Wagering Bill into law on June 14, and with the legal hoops cleared online, in-person, and mobile sports betting will be live in the state within 12 months.
