NBA Week 13 Betting Stats: Marcus Mosher brings the latest NBA Week 13 Trends to know.
The All-Star break has come and gone and now it’s time for teams to get ready for the second half of the season. To prepare you for Wednesday night’s games, here is everything you need to know about betting on the NBA this week.
NBA Week 13 Betting Stats
1. The Bucks are hot
After being the No. 1 seed in back-to-back years, there was a level of expectation for the Milwaukee Bucks entering the season. That was the case before they made the blockbuster move to trade for PG Jrue Holiday. However, they started the season off extremely slow, with a record of 14-13 at one point.
But things have gotten significantly better for the Bucks in recent weeks as they have now won nine of their last ten games. In fairness, the schedule has been easier as of late as they’ve beaten the Wizards (twice), Knicks and Grizzlies in four-straight games. However, they’ve done so in a convincing fashion. They now have the No. 2 ranked offense in the NBA, averaging just under 120 points per game. Their biggest drop from last year has come on the defensive end, where they rank 20th in points allowed per game.
The Bucks now sit at 25-14 and will battle the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. This is a game they should win, considering the injuries on the other side. Milwaukee needs this win to show they are still a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference that needs to be taken seriously over the next few months.
