When it comes to wagering on MLB, it’s smart to bet on singular props, whether it be player props or game props. However, do you know what gets the blood flowing even more than straight bets? Parlays. Combining a few events for a chance to have a decent payday is always fun in sports betting.
Just make sure that when you are betting on parlays, you are paying close attention to how many units you’re placing on them compared to your straight bets. You should be wagering more on straight bets than parlays, especially if you’re looking to build your bankroll up. With all of that out of the way, here are my favorite parlays in the MLB for Tuesday’s 16-game slate.
All MLB gameday odds are current as of Tuesday, May 3, at 10 a.m. ET from BetMGM Sportsbook.

Today’s Best MLB Parlay (+532)
- Minnesota Twins Moneyline (-175)
- Los Angeles Angels OVER 3.5 Runs (-160)
- Toronto Blue Jays Moneyline (-130)
- Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (-250)

The 14-9 Twins will send Joe Ryan to the mound against the 8-15 Orioles. Ryan’s been outstanding this year with a 1.17 ERA, a 0.70 WHIP, and 25 strikeouts in 23 innings. While Bruce Zimmerman has been equally impressive for the O’s, I’ll give the edge to Minnesota coming off yesterday’s 2-1 victory in Baltimore.

The Angels have been formidable against right-handed pitching to begin the season and are facing Michael Wacha on Tuesday. While Wacha has produced a 1.77 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP thus far, I expect him to have issues against the Angels, who have the highest ISO (.186) and second-most home runs (23) against RHP this year.
Alek Manoah is looking like a bona fide ace for Blue Jays this season with a 1.44 ERA, a 0.88 WHIP, and a perfect 4-0 record thus far. Toronto has the pitching edge over New York and Jameson Taillon on Tuesday, which is why I’m taking them to win at home.
The Reds have the worst record in baseball at 3-19 and are going up against Brandon Woodruff and the first-place Brewers. Mahle is off to a terrible start (1-3, 6.45 ERA, 1.66 WHIP), and Milwaukee is clearly the better team. I wouldn’t recommend betting the Brewers’ moneyline by itself given the juice, but it’s a nice odds booster for a parlay.
With four great picks here, this is our MLB parlay bet of the day.
MLB Longshot Parlay Bet Today
Today’s Longshot Parlay (+858)
- Miami Marlins Moneyline (-185)
- Los Angeles Angels Moneyline (-125)
- Colorado Rockies OVER 4.5 Runs (-175)
- San Francisco Giants Moneyline (+120)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Following Monday’s loss, I expect the Marlins to bounce back on Tuesday at home against the Diamondbacks. Trevor Rogers is on the bump for Miami and Arizona’s best hitters are lefties, giving him the platoon advantage.
While I like the Angels to produce four or more runs on Tuesday, I also like them to defeat the Red Sox. Los Angeles has cemented itself as one of the best teams in baseball in the early going, especially with a healthy Mike Trout in the lineup. Meanwhile, Boston has mightily struggled mightily and is five games below .500.
The Rockies are always a good bet to score runs at home, especially against a mediocre pitcher like Erick Fedde. Fedde has a career 5.29 ERA, 5.14 FIP, and 1.49 WHIP, making him an easy target at Coors Field.
Lastly, we round out our bet with a terrific pitching matchup at Dodger Stadium between Carlos Rodon and Julio Urias. Rodon has been masterful so far with a 1.17 WHIP, a 0.95 FIP, and a 14.9 K/9, so I’ll give the slight edge to the Giants here.
