For Monday, Mike Barner has your March 15 NBA Prop Bet Tips and 3/15/21 NBA Player Prop Bets. All odds were obtained from PointsBet.
A 2-1 finish to last week improved my season record to 39-47 (-14.89 units). I’ll try to kick off this week on a high note with the following three appealing player props for Monday’s eight-game slate.
March 15 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Russell Westbrook, Washington Wizards vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Over 9.5 Assists (-140)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.71 units)
The odds might not be great for this wager, but the line itself is very appealing considering Westbrook has dished out at least 10 assists in 12 of the last 15 games. The two times that he failed to reach that threshold during that stretch, he had eight and nine assists, respectively. The Bucks are heavily favored in this game, and a blowout could limit Westbrook’s minutes in the fourth quarter. However, the Wizards only lost to the Bucks at home by six points on Saturday, and that was without Bradley Beal, who is expected to play Monday. The Bucks are only 9-9 on the road this season, so I think the Wizards can keep this close enough to leave Westbrook with his usual allotment of minutes.
Julius Randle, New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets
Over 23.5 Points (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Randle has been locked in for the Knicks, scoring at least 24 points in eight of their last 11 games. This is a great matchup for him to keep things rolling against the Nets, who don’t have much depth up front and have the sixth-worst defensive rating in the league. The last time these two teams met, Randle scored 30 points in what was a seven-point loss for the Knicks.
Montrezl Harrell, Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors
Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Depth up front will continue to be a problem for Lakers in this game with Anthony Davis (calf) and Marc Gasol (COVID-19) out. Harrell has logged at least 32 minutes in both of the last two games with them out, posting 38 and 23 combined points and rebounds, respectively. This could be a great opportunity for him to have another productive night given that the Warriors have allowed the second-most rebounds per game in the league. On Sunday, they allowed Rudy Gobert to torch them for 24 points and 28 rebounds.
