February 6 DFS Picks
Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers
MKF Contest: More or Less- Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-in)
MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Kyrie Irving, PG, Brooklyn Nets: More Than 42.5 Fantasy Points
Kevin Durant will miss Saturday night’s contest due to health and safety protocols, which naturally will give Irving’s usage and scoring responsibility a significant boost. Irving boasts a 32.9 percent usage rate and is averaging 1.51 MKF points per minute without Durant on the floor this season, and Irving has exceeded this benchmark on nine occasions in 16 games already this season.
Tobias Harris, PF, Philadelphia 76ers: More Than 34.5 Fantasy Points
There’s a chance Joel Embiid sits out Saturday’s game due to knee soreness, and Harris sports a 28.0 percent usage rate and averages 1.17 MKF points per minute without his teammate on the court this season. With Durant out of action Saturday, Harris will also have a much clearer path to fantasy production, and it’s worth noting Brooklyn is already surrendering 38.3 percent shooting from distance to PFs this season. Meanwhile, Harris is shooting a career-high 44.4 percent from behind the arc and has already exceeded the 34.5 benchmark in 11 of 20 games this season.

MKF Contest: Scoring Champ (Pick three players to exceed a combined 85.5 points to win 1.8x your Buy-in)
Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks
Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors
These three players need to average just under 29.0 points each for the 85.5 points to be exceeded, and Stephen Curry is essentially there with his season average of 28.2. He put up 28 against these same Mavericks in just 30 minutes during Thursday’s blowout win for the Warriors, and he’s put at least that amount in half of his 22 games overall. Curry also comes in shooting 56.0 percent, including 52.4 percent from three-point range, over his last four contests, and with the likelihood Saturday’s game is a lot more competitive, Curry could well log a workload in the 35-38-minute range.
Luka Doncic, PG, Dallas Mavericks
Doncic is averaging 27.2 points per contest and totaled 27 against Golden State on Thursday. Luka has put up at least 28 points in 10 of 22 contests overall, and the Warriors come into Saturday’s contest allowing the ninth-most points per game (25.9) to point guards. The bump in pace that Golden State brings to Dallas is also very significant — the Dubs average an NBA-high 108.7 possessions per contest – and that will give Doncic plenty of extra possessions to work with.
Kristaps Porzingis, PF, Dallas Mavericks
Kristaps Porzingis should once again benefit from his massive size advantage over 6-foot-6 Draymond Green down low, one that helped the big man to put up 25 points in just 25 minutes during Thursday’s first game between the two clubs. Porzingis’ playing time was curtailed due to the blowout nature of the contest, but chances are Dallas doesn’t get outscored by 33 points again in the second half on its home floor. As such, Porzingis should once again do his share here, making him an excellent way to round out this trio.
