2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 20: Top Pickups
Chuma Okeke, PF, Orlando Magic (52% Rostered)
The Magic have no reason to play the rest of this season aside from evaluating their rostered talent. Chuma Okeke is one of their more prized possessions given that he was drafted in the first round three years ago.
Okeke has been productive at times, but injuries have held up consistent stretches of positive outcomes.
Over the past month and a half, Okeke has picked up his play and provided consistent stats for the sake of fantasy. Since Jan. 19, he is averaging 25.3 minutes, 11.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 threes, 2.2 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.9 blocks while shooting 47% from the field and 43% from three-point range.

Okeke does not get to the free-throw line very often but that’s a non-issue given the row of stats provided elsewhere.
Overall, he’s a must-roster player with boom-or-bust potential moving forward.
- Chuma Okeke Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 5-10%
Patrick Beverley, PG/SG, Minnesota Timberwolves (35% Rostered)
Patrick Beverley is a familiar name whose fantasy production has always been somewhat underrated. He is an easy player to hate, but given his career-high number of assists and blocks along with his highest scoring average since 2018, he should be back on the radar.
Beverley’s averages may seem mediocre on the surface, but he’s a valuable guard even with his lackluster shooting percentages. Shooting 41% from the field and 71% at the free-throw line hurts until you realize that 7.7 FGA and 2.0 FTA aren’t killing anyone in any week.
You’re adding Pat Bev because of his double-digit scoring, 4.8 assists, 1.5 threes, 1.2 steals, and 1 block per game.
- Patrick Beverley Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 3-5%
2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 20: Best Players To Stash
Kelly Olynyk, PF/C, Detroit Pistons (37% Rostered)
Kelly Olynyk‘s season has been mired by injury, but he seems to be waking up at a good time. He is mostly free in leagues and could be huge down the stretch if Detroit wants to ramp him up in games and get him comfortable with core players like Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey.
Olynyk started the season hot but was unfortunately shut down for two months due to a knee injury. He has not played heavy minutes since his return, but he did just crack 24 for the first time in this span and dropped 20 points, eight rebounds, four three-pointers, three assists, and two steals against the Hornets.
This was Olynyk’s biggest game since his first game back from injury and could be a sign of what’s to come.
- Kelly Olynyk Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 3-5%
Donte DiVincenzo, PG/SG, Sacramento Kings (11% Rostered)
Donte DiVincenzo was a solid fantasy asset the past two seasons but never made the expected jump to significant production. He is a capable contributor who dealt with a lower-body issue prior to this season that hampered much of his production with Milwaukee and ultimately landed him in Sacramento.
While the production in his new city has not been notable, he is playing more minutes and hopefully getting more comfortable with his new teammates.
If things do click in this last month, his points, rebounds, assists, threes, and steals could help a roster to a fantasy championship.
- Donte DiVincenzo Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 1-5%
2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 20: One-Week Streamer Play
Precious Achiuwa, SF/PF/C, Toronto Raptors (26% Rostered)
Precious Achiuwa is playing more with OG Anunoby out due to a finger issue. Toronto has 4 more games that Achiuwa can take advantage of and provide fantasy stats in.
Over the past 4 games, Achiuwa is averaging 15.3 points, 7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 threes, and 0.8 steals. He does not block much for a big, but that’s okay when the rest of his production looks the way it does.
- Precious Achiuwa Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 3-5%
