Colts 2021 Win Total Bet: Schedule, Changes, and Outlook

Last season the Colts finished 11-5, losing out on the tiebreaker with the Tennessee Titans, who ultimately won the division. This season, they will compete with the Titans for the AFC South division while also playing some tough road matchups against the Cardinals, Bills, Ravens, Dolphins, and 49ers.

For the third consecutive year, the Indianapolis Colts will have a new quarterback under center next season. Since the shocking retirement of franchise quarterback Andrew Luck before the 2019 season, the Colts have started Jacoby Brissett, Phillip Rivers, who recently retired, and now will give former No. 2 overall draft pick Carson Wentz a shot. The Colts acquired Wentz from the Philadelphia Eagles this past offseason, reuniting him with his former offensive coordinator in head coach Frank Reich.

The Colts’ offense features the likes of veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal, and second-year wideout Michael Pittman Jr. They also deploy a solid receiving duo of tight ends in Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox. Indianapolis’ running back trio made a great impression, as well. Rookie running back Jonathan Taylor got off to a slow start last season but finished with 1,169 yards and 11 touchdowns. After losing starter Marlon Mack for the season, backup Nyheim Hines stepped up as a threat in both the running and passing games. Along with Hines, Mack will return to the offense this season to complete the three-headed monster.

The Colts finished with the 8th best defense in the NFL last year, giving up 332.1 total yards per game. They had the second-best rush defense allowing just 90.5 yards on the ground per game. Indianapolis’ pass defense was average at best, however, coming in at 19th in the league with 257.9 yards surrendered through the air each week. The Colts also had the 4th most takeaways (25), which helped them out a lot. The defense has an array of standouts, including 2021 first-round draft pick Kwity Paye, along with veterans DeForest Buckner, Darius Leonard, and interceptions leader Kenny Moore II.

Colts 2021 Win Total Bet Pick

Colts To Win Over 10 Games in 2021-2022 NFL Season (+110)

The Colts pulled out 11 wins last year, and this season, traded for a quarterback who has shown flashes of brilliance in Wentz. The hope is that Wentz can bounce back in a familiar system with a much better supporting cast around him in 2021.

Based on BetMGM’s current odds, you should go with the over at +110 for the Colts to win over 10 games, which they were able to do a season ago. BetMGM also likes the Colts to capture the AFC South division title at +100.
