April 5 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Julius Randle, New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets
Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
The Nets have had no answer for Randle in their two previous meetings. In their first game, Randle registered 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists. In the second, he exploded for 33 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. While the Nets have made some changes up front, neither Blake Griffin or LaMarcus Aldridge should be able to provide enough of a defensive presence to slow down Randle.
Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz at Dallas Mavericks
Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Gobert is having yet another excellent season, averaging 14.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per game. With regards to this total, he’s produced at least 29 combined points and rebounds in six of his last nine contests. The last two times he faced the Mavericks, he registered 49 and 29 combined points and rebounds, respectively. Look for him to dominate the likes of Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell in this game, as well.
Aleksej Pokusevski, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Detroit Pistons
Over 12.5 Points (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Pokusevski has a bright future after being selected 17th overall in the 2020 Draft. He’s only 19 years old, but he’s already averaging 23 minutes per game. He should play even more in this contest with Al Horford (rest), Darius Bazley (shoulder) and Isaiah Roby (concussion) all out. Pokusvski’s 31.5 percent shooting from the field is a concern, but he should receive enough shot attempt to still hit the over on this modest number. He’s already scored at least 13 points in four of his last six games.
