Arizona Cardinals 2021 Win Total Bet: Schedule, Changes, and Outlook

The Arizona Cardinals are heading into their third season with Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury, which has been a productive pairing thus far. The Cardinals improved by three wins from 2019 to 2020, and likely would have finished better than 8-8 last year had Murray not been hampered by injuries during the second half.

Murray has already established himself as one of the NFL’s best dual-threat quarterbacks, while Arizona also features one of the league’s premier pass catchers in DeAndre Hopkins. With Larry Fitzgerald a free agent and likely to retire, the Cardinals also have the opportunity to get a bit younger this year in their receiving corps, especially after drafting Rondale Moore in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Veteran WR A.J. Green will add depth behind Hopkins as well.

The running game will get a new look with free-agent acquisition James Conner taking over as the primary tailback. Arizona also fortified its trenches with the additions of All-Pro C Rodney Hudson and DE J.J. Watt, while rookie ILB Zaven Collins should be an impact player right away. The biggest hit from this offseason may be looming, though, with OLB Chandler Jones‘ trade request still unfulfilled.

With considerable talent on both sides of the ball at his disposal, Kingsbury will have to expand his playbook and become more creative and aggressive in order for the Cardinals to reach their full potential. The NFC West is arguably the NFL’s toughest division, and Arizona’s schedule is packed with formidable challenges.

This Cardinals’ roster is stacked, but there are too many difficult matchups ahead for a defense that is poor in the secondary and will likely be without its best player upfront in Jones if his trade request goes through or he holds out. Even with Murray and all their offensive talent, it will be tough for them to improve again with a play-caller like Kingsbury, who has proven to be questionable at best.
