NBA Bets of the Day 11/12/21
Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs, 8:30 p.m. ET
Best Bet: San Antonio Spurs +3 (-115) at Caesars
Wager: 1.5 units
The San Antonio Spurs have looked a lot better than many expected with Dejounte Murray seemingly taking another step forward in his development and looking like a star. Since starting off the season 1-4, the Spurs have managed a more respectable 3-3 record. They are coming off a blowout win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
The Mavericks have not looked quite like their 7-4 record suggests. New head coach Jason Kidd has turned the Mavericks offense on its head and it looks like a jumbled mess at times. Dallas suffered a 10-point loss to the Chicago Bulls in their last game.
I’m backing the Spurs here because I believe in their defense far more than I believe in the Mavericks’ offense maintaining any sort of consistency.
Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs, 8:30 p.m. ET
Best Bet: Under 219.5 Points (-110) at Caesars
Wager: 1 unit
Let’s take a look at another bet in this Texas matchup. The Dallas Mavericks are actually 2-7-2 against the total this season while San Antonio is a so-so 5-5-1.
In fact, the Mavericks have only hit that Over on this total in two of their last eight games. It has also only hit in three of the Spurs’ last eight games. These two teams can turn it on based on matchup, but I don’t envision a shootout in this game.
Back the Under.
Atlanta Hawks @ Denver Nuggets, 9:00 p.m. ET
Best Bet: Atlanta Hawks +4.5 (-110) at Caesars
Wager: 1 unit
The Hawks will hit the road to Denver to face the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic has served his suspension for his role in the on-court skirmish that occurred between him and Heat forward Markieff Morris. However, Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) will miss tonight’s game.
The Hawks have dropped five straight so this might not be the prettiest bet, but I like it nonetheless. Atlanta is also 3-9 against the spread this season, which is absurdly terrible, but I don’t believe the Nuggets have enough firepower behind Jokic to win and cover.
Back Trae Young‘s Hawks who are a lot better than they have looked.
