Dodgers vs Giants Props: Best Baseball Props Today 10/14/21
Julio Urias: Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-125) at BetMGM
Julio Urias was a workhorse during the regular season, averaging 5.8 innings and 6.1 strikeouts per start. He was only needed for five innings in the Dodgers’ blowout win in Game 2, striking out five before departing.
Accordingly, Urias should be relatively fresh for Game 5 after throwing just 72 pitches in Game 2. While he’ll be on a short leash given the circumstances, I expect him to go at least five innings and potentially longer if he is pitching well.
Despite the possibility of a quick hook here, Urias should be able to notch at least five strikeouts, which he’s done in 27 of his 33 starts this season.

Logan Webb: Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-140) at BetMGM
Logan Webb was sensational in Game 1, piling up 10 strikeouts over 7 2/3 shutout innings. He’ll be hard-pressed to repeat that performance against LA’s potent offense in Game 5, however.
In addition to pacing the National League in runs scored this year, the Dodgers also led the league in walks. Look for them to be more patient and disciplined tonight after being uncharacteristically aggressive in Game 1. They should also have more success against Webb after seeing him earlier in the series.
Webb will be lucky to reach the fifth inning, which is why I’m taking the Under here for our MLB bet of the day.

Mookie Betts: Over 0.5 Hits (-275) at BetMGM
Mookie Betts has been red-hot in the playoffs thus far, batting .350/.364/.500 with seven hits and four RBIs. He’s also hit safely in four of five games this postseason, notching multiple hits three times.
Betts was also one of the only Dodgers to have any success against Webb in Game 1, accounting for two of the five hits against him. With the way he’s been swinging the bat lately, look for Betts to get at least one more knock tonight.
