The Elite 8 is here, and for the first time in the NCAA Tournament, we have stand-alone games.
And if you’re a parlay bettor, same-game parlays are your best option to hit a longshot score and cash in before the tournament comes to a close.
In the Midwest Regional final, the total is set at 150 points, setting up a fast-paced back-and-forth affair featuring some of the best guards in the country.
So, reschedule that Sunday afternoon nap and get prepared for a fantastic matchup between two teams who are going to battle with a spot in the Final 4 on the line.
Here’s a look at a couple of parlay bets I like for the Midwest Regional Final.

I had nearly the exact same parlay when Texas beat Xavier in the Sweet 16, and we’re going back to the well again in the Elite 8.
Texas is too dynamic, too talented, and too well-coached — shoutout to Rodney Terry who abruptly took over midseason.
The Longhorns simply find ways to win games, and although I do think Miami is able to score against the Longhorns, the balanced scoring attack anchored by a trio of fantastic guards ends up being too much for the Hurricanes.
Texas wins in a high-scoring back-and-forth game, and at (+190) this is my best same-game parlay bet for the Longhorns vs the Hurricanes.

- Over 155.5 (+170)
Normally, I wouldn’t be thrilled about a reverse teaser in a college basketball game. However, both of these teams are among the top offenses in college basketball and I expect this to be an uptempo game, so this is worth a sprinkle.

Miami’s guards are awesome, but Texas is not only more talented, but deeper. Even an injury to center Dylan Disu, who led the team in scoring against Penn State, didn’t slow this offense down.
With four players averaging double-figures, you need a united defensive effort which Miami has struggled with this season.
The Hurricanes are 104th in KenPom defensive efficiency and surrendered the most free throws in the ACC this season. With Texas’ athleticism, look for them to get to the line early and often, pulling away and covering the double digits in a high-scoring game.
Granted, it is (+675) for a reason, but this one feels like a worthy longshot play.
