No. 3 seed Gonzaga is fresh off a wild 79-76 win over No. 2 UCLA in the Sweet 16. Junior guard Julian Strawther had ice in his veins, knocking down a go-ahead three-pointer with only eight seconds left with the Zags down by one.
Meanwhile, No. 4 UConn cruised to an 88-65 victory over No. 8 Arkansas. Junior forward Adama Sanogo continued to lead the way with 18 points and eight rebounds. The Huskies held the Razorbacks to 31% shooting from the field.
This has the makings of another classic in the Elite 8. With that in mind, let’s dive into Gonzaga vs UConn best bets and predictions.

Gonzaga vs UConn Best Bets
UConn -2 (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Gonzaga could have trouble finding an answer for Sanogo, who is averaging 23.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in this tournament. The Huskies also have the edge on defense, where they’ve held their opponents to fewer than 70 points in seven consecutive games.
UConn is 9-2 against this number in their last 11 games. Look for them to get it done in this spot.
Gonzaga vs UConn: Over 153.5 Total Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Gonzaga has the top-ranked offense in the country. The Zags also like to move quickly, coming in at 34th in pace.
We saw how that affected the tempo of the game against UCLA. While the Bruins are one of the slower teams, they were forced into a faster pace against Gonzaga.
We could see a similar pace-up result here, with the Huskies (167th in pace) forced to play quicker to keep up with the Zags. That’s why this is such a high number.
Despite that, I’m rolling with the Over.
UConn: Over 77.5 Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
We’ll finish off our best bets by taking the Over on UConn’s team total. The Huskies have eclipsed this number in two of their three games during the tournament, and in each of those two contests, they’ve scored 87 or more points.
This wager has a strong correlation with the full-game Over, which is an added benefit. This way, I’m covered in case the Huskies score a lot of points but keep the Zags’ offense at bay.
