Only two out of the five games of this series have gone over this total, but I fully expect these teams to pull out all the stops given what’s at stake in Game 6. Indiana must be at its best on both ends of the floor to force a Game 7, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams are inevitable. Each of Oklahoma City’s wins have come by seven points are more, so I’m comfortable backing this group against the spread as 5-point favorites on the road. There’s reason to be concerned about Tyrese Haliburton’s leg injury (even if he’s playing through it), and I question how well the Pacers will be able to execute their preferred style of play without him at full strength.
For some extra juice, I’m looking for Jalen Williams to score at least 20 points. He’s increased his scoring total in each game of this series, and while I don’t expect him to top his 40-point effort from Game 5, it’s worth noting that he’s gone for 26-plus in each of the last three outings.
