The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are part of a five-game NBA slate on Christmas Day, facing off at Chase Center.
This is the first time in the regular season these teams will meet, setting up an intriguing matchup as both teams continue to find their way in a tough Western Conference.
Let’s take a look at the Lakers vs Warriors odds and break down how this game may play out.

Lakers vs Warriors Christmas Game Prediction
Warriors 118, Lakers 112
There are a couple of factors as to why I see the Warriors pulling off the victory against the Lakers.
First, they are one of the best teams at limiting points in the paint, which could make life difficult for Anthony Davis. This also makes things a little tougher on LeBron James, especially since his three-ball is at 35% on the season, including some additional struggles in the past two games.
On the whole, the Lakers are a below-average three-point team, so if they can’t beat the Warriors’ interior defense, they could be looking at an uphill battle all game long.
The Warriors will want to push the pace and get up a lot of threes, two things they are rather good at.
And though LeBron James is still playing at a high level, he isn’t the same player as he nears his 40th birthday.
Lakers vs Warriors Christmas Game Best Bets
Warriors -4.5 (-110)
DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit
Steph Curry just had a 30+ point game against the Timberwolves and I’m expecting another big performance on Christmas Day against the Lakers. The high volume of three-pointers and increased pace will give the Lakers trouble and the Warriors should be able to separate themselves in the second half.
Consider the Warriors at -4.5 for your NBA bet of the day.
Over 229 Points (-110)

I expect the Warriors’ interior defense will push the Lakers to shoot more threes, plus the increased pace of play by the Warriors should help both teams combine for 230+ points. If things are clicking right, you may see the Warriors reach 20 three-pointers made against Los Angeles.
