Both of my recommended parlays for Game 3 flopped on account of the Los Angeles Lakers being unable to cover the spread as 5.5-point favorites vs the Denver Nuggets.
With that meeting out of the way and Game 4 approaching on Monday night, I’m looking forward to wagering on another set of same-game parlays.
Here are my best parlays for Game 4 between the Nuggets and Lakers.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 4 Best Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Best SGP (+330) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
- Nuggets Moneyline (+135)
- Over 224.5 Points (-115)
For my best same-game parlay for Game 4, I’m starting off with the Nuggets moneyline. That means I’m also calling for Denver to sweep Los Angeles, which would be a massive achievement.
However, the Lakers have seriously struggled to keep up with the Nuggets in this series, and things haven’t gotten better for them on their home floor. At (+135) odds, this is a great way to juice this bet.
Additionally, I’m taking the Over at 224.5 points. The Over has hit at this number in two out of three meetings thus far, and with how effective Denver’s offense has looked, it seems likely that we get another relatively high-scoring matchup on Monday night.
At (+330) odds, I’m all-in on the value we can get here, making this my NBA bet of the day.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 4 Longshot Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Longshot SGP (+900) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 0.5 Units
- Jamal Murray: Over 27.5 Points (+115)
- LeBron James: Over 25.5 Points (+105)
- Nuggets: Over 111.5 Points (+100)
- Nuggets Moneyline (+135)
For my longshot same-game parlay, I’ve combined four plus-odds wagers to come in at (+900) overall.
Up first, I’m backing Murray to have another big night and score Over 27.5 points. He’s met this mark in each of the first three games of this series, and he notched 30 points in the first half alone in Game 3.
I’m also taking the Over on James’ 25.5 points. With the Lakers’ season on the line, I’m expecting him to be much more aggressive with his shot and log his best all-around performance of the series so far.

Additionally, I like the Nuggets to score Over 111.5 points. They’re averaging roughly 120 per game in this series, and they’ve met this mark in two out of three games thus far.
Finally, as mentioned above, I believe Denver will win outright and pull off the sweep.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 3 Parlays Preview
I attached the Over to both of my best parlays for Game 2, which ultimately sank both of them. However, with more evidence of how this series will go under our belts, it should only get easier to hit parlays as it continues.
With that in mind, here are my best parlays for Nuggets vs Lakers Game 3.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 3 Best Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Best SGP (+175) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
- Lakers Moneyline (-225)
- Over 223.5 Points (-115)
I’m starting my best same-game parlay for Game 3 with the Lakers moneyline. They’ve been competitive enough through the first two meetings to make me believe they can turn things around at home, and they’ll likely be playing with more urgency so as to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole.
Additionally, I’m going with the Over at 223.5 points. Denver’s defense hasn’t been nearly as effective on the road this postseason, while the Lakers are averaging roughly 117 points per game at home, where they’ve gone undefeated thus far in the playoffs.
At +175 odds, there’s enough value here for me to make this my NBA bet of the day.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 3 Longshot Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Longshot SGP (+1800) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 0.5 Units
- Lakers -5.5 (-105)
- Over 223.5 Points (-115)
- Anthony Davis: 30+ Points (+290)
- Austin Reaves: 3+ Three-Pointers (+140)
I’m upping the ante with my longshot same-game parlay, backing the Lakers to cover the 5.5-point spread as opposed to taking them outright. Not only can we boost the odds by doing so, but Los Angeles is also 10-4 against the spread in the playoffs.
I’m also taking the Over, as mentioned above. Overs are 1-1 so far in this series.
To juice this parlay, I’m backing Davis to score at least 30 points and looking for Reaves to sink three or more three-pointers. Davis is due for a big performance after an underwhelming showing in Game 2, and Reaves has eclipsed this mark in each of his last five games.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 2 Parlays Preview
The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers went on a scoring frenzy in Game 1, racking up 258 total points in the series opener. Sportsbooks hardly expected the display, as the total was set at around 222.5 points going into the action.
The Nuggets’ victory paired with the high-scoring result meant my best same-game parlay for Game 1 cashed, although my longshot parlay lost by one leg, with LeBron James missing the Over on his points prop by the hook.
With what should be another exciting contest on the horizon, here are my best parlays for Game 2 between the Nuggets and Lakers.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 2 Best Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Best SGP (+215) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
- Nuggets ML (-235)
- Over 226.5 Points (-120)
- LeBron James: 20+ Points (-425)
My best same-game parlay for Game 2 looks awfully similar to the one I played and won in Game 1, and that’s by design. I’m expecting a similar outcome on Thursday night, and while I do think Denver will cover the 5.5-point spread, the moneyline is the safer choice to build around.
I’m also taking the Over at 226.5 points. Denver and Los Angeles scored nearly 260 points in Game 1, and although we’re sure to see some regression on that front, this still seems like too low of a mark considering the Nuggets have the No. 1 offensive rating in the playoffs.
To add some extra juice to this one, I’m backing James to score at least 20 points. He logged 26 in Game 1, and he’s met this mark in 12 of his 13 playoff games thus far, making this leg a virtual lock.
At (+215) odds, I’m comfortable making this three-leg same-game parlay my NBA bet of the day.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 2 Longshot Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Longshot SGP (+675) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 0.5 Units
- Nikola Jokić: Triple-Double (-170)
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: 12+ Points (+100)
- Anthony Davis: 25+ Points (-125)
- Nuggets -5.5 (-110)
- Over 226.5 Points (-120)
I’m beginning my longshot same-game parlay for Game 2 with a Jokić triple-double. He’s logged one in six of his 12 playoff games so far, including three straight. The Lakers don’t have an answer for him in any regard, and as long as his usage remains sky-high, he’ll have a good chance of recording another.
Several of Jokić’s 14 assists in Game 1 ended with a bucket from Caldwell-Pope, which is why I’m featuring him in this parlay. The former Laker scored 21 in the series opener, and he should continue to play above expectations in front of the home crowd.
I’m also adding Davis to score at least 25 points, which is a mark he easily surpassed in Game 1. Denver doesn’t offer much resistance at the rim, and the Nuggets would probably rather have Davis beat them than one of Los Angeles’ role players.
Finally, I’m tacking on the Nuggets against the spread and the Over at 226.5 points. I anticipate Denver winning another relatively high-scoring game on Thursday night, and both of these legs play into that belief.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 1 Parlays Preview
The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers will take the floor for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals this Tuesday, May 16, in what should be an exciting precursor to the 2023 NBA Finals.
With a plethora of prop betting opportunities available, this is also an excellent time to place some same-game parlays.
Here are two of my favorites for Game 1 between the Nuggets and Lakers.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 1 Best Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Best SGP (+165) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
- Nuggets Moneyline (-230)
- Over 222.5 Points (-120)
My best same-game parlay is also going to be my safest, and that’s why I’m beginning this one with the Nuggets moneyline rather than backing them against the spread. Denver has yet to lose at home this postseason, and they also have the rest advantage and home court in Game 1.
To cap this one off, I’m backing the Over at 222.5 points. Denver put up 81 first-half points in its most recent outing, and we likely won’t see any major defensive adjustments made until a bit later in the series.
The Lakers also prefer to play fast, and they’ll want to make a statement in the opener.
At (+165) odds, this is a solid value for my NBA bet of the day.
Nuggets vs Lakers Game 1 Longshot Same-Game Parlay
Nuggets vs Lakers Longshot SGP (+950) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 0.5 Units
- LeBron James: Over 26.5 Points (+120)
- Jamal Murray: Over 24.5 Points (-110)
- Over 222.5 Points (-120)
- Nuggets -5.5 (-110)
James has largely been held in check as a scorer throughout the postseason, but we shouldn’t expect that to continue as the stakes get higher. He also averaged 27.3 points over the final three games of the second round, which is perhaps a sign of things to come.
Murray is also liable to have a strong scoring performance in Game 1. The 26-year-old guard went off for 34 points in his most recent meeting with Los Angeles on Jan. 9, and he’s averaging 26.3 points over his last seven playoff games.
Additionally, as mentioned above, I like the Over in Game 1 at 222.5 points. And because this is a longshot parlay, I’m finishing it off by backing Denver against the 5.5-point spread.
