One team’s season will live on for at least two extra days, and the other’s will end after the game between the 10th-seeded Charlotte Hornets and No. 9 seed Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday at State Farm Arena.
Here’s a look at some props we like and our predictions for that game here.

Hawks vs Hornets Player Props
Trae Young, Hawks: OVER 31.5 Points (-105)
WAGER: 2 Units
Trae Young only averaged 20.8 points against the Hornets in four meetings, including a season-low nine in their last game on March. But the superstar guard is rolling, with nine 30-point games in his past 15 and four 40-point games in that span.

Charlotte is one of the most porous defensive teams in the league and will be missing one of its best defenders in Gordon Hayward. Plus, if last year is any indication, Young can reach another level in the postseason. He topped 32 points in seven of his 16 playoff appearances last season.
LaMelo Ball, Hornets: OVER 31.5 Points +Assists (-125)
WAGER: 2 Units
LaMelo Ball will need to score — especially with Hayward out — for Charlotte to keep pace with the high-flying Hawks. He’ll need to facilitate as well. Fortunately for bettors, he’s fantastic at both. Ball has topped 32+ points and assists in four consecutive games and eight of Charlotte’s past nine.
Clint Capela, Hawks: OVER 25.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Clint Capela is a double-double machine, and he’s been a huge part of Atlanta’s offense down the stretch. He’s posted at least 26 points + rebounds in six of Atlanta’s past nine games and is averaging 14.6 points and 12 rebounds per game over the Hawks’ five games in April.
Most importantly, Capela surpassed 26 points + rebounds in two of the four regular-season games between the clubs. He should have another monster game.
Hawks vs Hornets Game Props
Hawks: OVER 120.5 Points (-115)
WAGER: 1 Unit
The Hawks score points, and the Hornets give them up. Charlotte surrendered about 115 points per game during the regular season and allowed 144 in its play-in tournament loss to the Indiana Pacers a year ago.
Atlanta averaged about 114 points per game during the regular season, led by Trae Young, who scored the most points of any player in the NBA and ranked tied for fifth in average points per game (28.4).
Atlanta averaged about 117 points per game at home during the regular season, and Young scored more than 30 per game at State Farm Arena.
The Hawks have surpassed 121 points in six of their past eight games and has scored 120-plus in 16 of their past 20 wins. They’ll absolutely need to score points if they’re going to beat the Hornets, who averaged more than 115 points per game during the regular season.
