MLB Parlays Today

Last Updated: a day ago

With 15 games on tap Sunday, there are ample ways to build MLB parlays and find value across the slate, but that won’t stop us. Below, I’ll highlight my top two parlays ahead of today’s MLB slate.

All MLB odds are current as of Sunday, Sept. 14.

Best MLB Parlay Today

MLB Best Parlay (+323)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units

  • Ranger at Mets: Under 8 (-114)
  • Astros at Braves: Astros ML (-144)
  • Rockies at Padres: Padres ML (-351)

Below, I’ll discuss each leg of this parlay.

  • Rangers at Mets Under 8 Runs: There are two great pitchers on the mound in this game, Jacob Latz (Rangers) and Nolan Mclean (Mets). Latz is 2-0 this season with a 2.91 ERA, and over his last five starts, he’s only allowed six earned runs and one home run. Additionally, the Mets are averaging just 3.33 runs per game over their last three. McLean is 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA. He’s allowed just five earned runs over his last five starts, including one home run and 33 strikeouts. This will be an excellent pitching matchup.
  • Astros ML: On the mound for Houston is Framber Valdez. After allowing six earned runs on Sept. 2, he performed much better in his most recent outing, Sept. 7, where he went seven innings and allowed three earned runs. The Astros are 1-4 in Valdez’s last five starts, but their offense gets to go after Braves starter Joey Wentz. Wentz has allowed 10 earned runs over his last two starts, including 12 hits and three home runs. Not only that, but Atlanta is averaging just two earned runs per game over their last three.
  • Padres ML: This is a monstrous moneyline, but there’s no way I could pick the Rockies in this game. On the mound for them is German Marquez. He’s 3-13 with a 6.31 ERA and only 77 strikeouts across 112.2 innings. He also has an HR/9 of 1.4. Over his last three starts, he’s allowed 17 earned runs and five home runs. The Rockies are averaging just 1.33 runs per game over their last three games, and that includes scoring four on Saturday. I’m not saying the Padres are in incredibly better shape than the Rockies right now, but Colorado is a dumpster fire.

MLB Best Same Game Parlay: Rangers at Mets (+184)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units

  • Mets ML (-157)
  • 1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-125)

While I did take the under in this game above, for this Same Game Parlay, I’ll pivot slightly and take the Mets on the moneyline. Latz has an ERA under 3.00, but he’s had a mix of roles. He’s made 29 appearances and six starts. He’s reached six innings in just one start. Conversely, while McLean has just five appearances, these have all been starts, and he’s dealt with some of the best lineups in baseball, including the Phillies, Tigers, and the Mariners.

So while the Mets will, I do think this will be a lower-scoring game, including no runs scored in the first inning.

Latz has allowed just one run in the first inning this season, and McLean has surrendered just two.

Best MLB Parlay Sportsbooks

Baseball can be unpredictable, yet there is a way to get better odds while also wagering on outcomes that are likely to hit: parlay betting.

Parlaying multiple games or markets together is a great way to boost payouts in baseball. For example, instead of putting in $10 and winning $5 profit, you can combine a couple of short-odds games to get +100 odds or longer, thus boosting payout.

To help you plan and estimate your potential winnings, try using our parlay calculator, a handy tool that breaks down odds and payouts for your picks.

Does some of that seem confusing? Don’t worry. We’re here to help. Check out below for our guide to parlay betting in baseball.

What Is a Parlay Bet?

A parlay bet is when a bettor combines two or more outcomes in a single wager. It is beneficial for users trying to enhance odds since multi-market bets are less assured than some single-bet wagers.

Wagering on parlays is perfect for events like midweek or weekend baseball games, when there are 15 matchups every day.

Perhaps a team is a big favorite at home, and you want to cash in, but you also love a lower favorite’s pitching matchup that night. Combine the two and boost your payout if each wager hits.

Parlay betting isn’t restricted to only teams that win (moneylines). You can also include other markets, such as player props and Over/Unders.

How Baseball Parlay Betting Works

Baseball parlay betting is the same as any sport, where you choose multiple outcomes that you think will be successful for the wager to “hit” or pay out. If one or more fail, then the whole wager loses.

There are many ways to parlay bets on baseball. For instance, you can combine two moneyline bets — or choose two or more teams to win their games on a given night.

You can combine moneyline with the run line, baseball’s version of against-the-spread picks — choose one team to win and another to cover a certain number of points.

If you prefer props, you can include those, too, whether they’re in the same game or not. Same Game Parlays are another popular bet type, where you can put together multiple correlated outcomes for a chance for some profit.

Best Baseball Betting Sites

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings is one of the leading sportsbooks and makes it easy for baseball bettors to parlay outcomes with a slew of player props and markets for every MLB game.

They have an assortment of alternate lines for player props, which allow users to try to shoot for the moon for a big profit.

What also helps DraftKings stand out is the ability to parlay futures wagers. You can choose your top picks as division winners for a chance at major profit.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars is one of the nation’s most well-known casinos and has become among the country’s best sportsbooks since completing its purchase of U.K.-based William Hill in August 2021.

The sportsbook offers an array of baseball betting markets, including props and alternate spreads and totals. Plus, bettors can earn rewards at Caesars properties just by depositing and placing bets.

You’ll also find competitive odds with a robust customer-service infrastructure, giving bettors confidence that they’re dealing with one of the most reputable books in gaming.

BetMGM Sportsbook

BetMGM is a marquee sportsbook established online in 2018 under the brand of one of the world’s most widely known casino companies.

It is available in over a dozen states and provides various options for baseball bettors.

Users can take advantage of a number of promos, including free bets and odds boosts, as well as watch live streams of games directly on the website.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel is the No. 1 sportsbook in the United States and offers favorable odds on all the games. It also has one of the nation’s most widely available online betting apps.

This operator was the creator of the Same Game Parlay, a wager that enables users to combine multiple outcomes on the same game.

It was also the first to offer Same Game Parlay+, which lets bettors combine several bet types from two or more games.

How to Pick the Best Baseball Parlay Betting Site

Picking the best parlay site for your college basketball bet can be simple. The best site includes:

  • Odds: The best odds ensure the largest payout. It isn’t that complicated.
  • Better lines: If you want to dream up an against-the-spread parlay, find the site with the most friendly lines for your potential bet.
  • Parlay insurance: Some sportsbooks will give bettors bonus bets parlay bets or will reimburse parlays that lose by one single market.
  • Parlay boosts: Sites offer promotions like odds boosts for certain parlays. Or some sportsbooks curate either multi-game or same-game parlays on a given day.

Baseball Same Game Parlays

Same-game parlays are when bettors combine multiple markets from the same event. These are perfect for major single-event days, like the World Series.

Cooking up a Same Game Parlay can involve multiple bet types, including the several player props offered in MLB betting, such as home runs, total bases, strikeouts, walks, and much more.

Baseball Betting Strategies

There are several strategies when putting together a parlay in baseball. You can combine 3-4 huge favorites to get plus-odds on a number of likely blowouts.

You may also try to hit a home run by combining a few underdogs for a better payout.

Let’s not forget Same Game Parlays, which allow you to put together correlated outcomes to increase your win probability.

You may also opt to make contradictory plays, such as Gerrit Cole‘s Over 7.5 strikeouts but Under 18.5 Outs. Since this has a negative correlation, it will result in a higher payout.

The best strategy is to come up with a parlay that you’ve researched with pertinent data to support your stance. That way, you won’t regret it if it misses because you made a play backed with evidence.

Benefits of Betting Baseball Parlays

Betting baseball parlays is fun! It’s never been easier to track or watch baseball games at a time, which makes parlay betting even more enjoyable.

Plus, parlays enable you to get good odds on two or more events that are likely to cash in, thus boosting payouts.

It also allows you to reduce the juice on heavy favorites, giving you a chance to combine them into a parlay while risking fewer units.

Why Choose More Than One Site

Choosing more than one site or app is integral when crafting your favorite baseball parlay. Is the parlay you love odds boosted on one site? Can you get a profit boost promo? Or are there better moneyline/spread odds that would produce a bigger payout?

If so, that should be a major determining factor for choosing a site. It’s beneficial to sign up with each major sportsbook to cash in on new signup bonuses and also odds shop to max out the earnings.
