Kyle Hamilton Scouting Report & Fantasy Football Outlook

Last Updated: Apr 28, 2022

The Philadelphia Eagles jumped ahead of the Baltimore Ravens to select Jordan Davis, who most expected Baltimore to target with the 14th overall pick. With defense on their mind, the Ravens took Kyle Hamilton, giving them a talented safety to bolster the backend of their secondary.

Kyle Hamilton NFL Draft Outlook

There were questions surrounding where Hamilton could be selected and the Notre Dame product landed in a perfect spot in Baltimore. The Ravens are known for having versatile safeties and Hamilton could join the list of talented safeties to put on their iconic purple uniform.

While Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters are one of the best cornerback duos in the NFL, Hamilton joins a well-rounded safety room that features Chuck Clark and Marcus Williams, who the team signed in free agency.

Kyle Hamilton Fantasy Football IDP Tips

It remains to be seen what Hamilton’s role on the Ravens will be in his rookie season with Clark and Williams residing at safety. But given Hamilton’s ability to make plays on the ball and play sideline-to-sideline, expect Baltimore to find a way for him to see the field often.

If he can carve out a starting role immediately, Hamilton can be a stud in IDP leagues for years to come.
