To calculate these odds, simply divide the odds by 100 and multiply that number by your wager. For example, if I take Ja’Marr Chase to score a touchdown at +200, I divide 200 by 100 to get 2. If I bet $100, I’d multiply that by 2 to get $200, which is my payout in this case.
Decimal Odds
This is when it’s shown in decimals. In this case, it’s related to 1 rather than 100. If I took the Over on Tee Higgins receiving yards at 1.87, that number relates to the stake plus profit. If I wagered $1 on this, I’d get back $1.87 ($1 risk, $0.87 profit).
To calculate this, multiply your wager by the profit. For example, if I bet $100 on this, I can do 100 times 0.87 to get $87, which would be my winnings in this case.
Fractional Odds
This is when the odds are displayed as fractions. Simply multiply your bet by the numerator (first number) to find your potential payout. This works if the denominator is 1. For example, if I put $100 on Nikola Jokic to get a triple double at 2/1 odds, I’d multiply 100 x 2. If the odds are something like 5/2, I’d divide 5 by 2 to get 2.5 and then multiply that number by my stake.
