Third-year wideout Diontae Johnson has had a career year with the Pittsburgh Steelers, compiling 1,161 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Johnson has also posted a career-low drop percentage, establishing himself as one of Ben Roethlisberger‘s most reliable targets.
On Sunday, Johnson will play in his second playoff game. The first came in 2020, when he recorded 11 receptions and 117 receiving yards in Pittsburgh’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Can Johnson put together another impressive postseason showing in what’s expected to be Roethlisberger’s final game? Let’s take a look at some of our favorite props ahead of Sunday night’s action.

Diontae Johnson Wild Card Prop Bets
Diontae Johnson Over 61.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at BetRivers
Wager: 1 Unit
When the Chiefs and Steelers last met in late December, Johnson brought in six receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. It was one of his lesser performances of the season in terms of yards gained — Johnson had just six games this season in which he recorded fewer than 60 receiving yards.
Johnson was also targeted a bit less often than usual against the Chiefs. It was one of only four times this season that he saw fewer than 10 targets.

With that said, given that Roethlisberger may air it out a bit more often than usual on Sunday — coupled with the fact that he’s expected to have a few more weapons at his disposal — this total seems low enough for Johnson to hit.
With his agility, Johnson is more than capable of creating separation after the catch. If he can maintain an average of at least 10 yards per reception, he’ll be in line to hit the Over on this prop.
Diontae Johnson Over 6.5 Receptions (-104) at BetRivers
Wager: 1 Unit
This line seems to be appropriately set for Johnson, who recorded seven or more receptions in nine of his 16 games this season. His last outing against the Chiefs was one of the seven games in which he went under this total, bringing in six receptions on nine targets.

With that said, I like the Over this time. I’m already expecting Roethlisberger and the Steelers to pass more often than usual on Sunday, and Johnson is the most targeted receiver on this roster by a significant margin. Look for Johnson to hit the Over here and make this your NFL bet of the day.
