The Los Angeles Chargers (6-5) take on the Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) this Sunday in a pivotal clash with playoff implications for both contenders.
The Chargers need their young stud quarterback Justin Herbert to step it up. We’ve seen him have several huge games so far this season and he could be poised for another one here against Joe Burrow. Expect running back Austin Ekeler to deliver a strong performance for Los Angeles as well.
On the Bengals’ side, standout rookie wideout Ja’Marr Chase has slowed down recently, but it’s only a matter of time before he breaks out again.
Let’s dive in to find the best Chargers vs Bengals prop bets for this weekend’s AFC clash.

Chargers vs Bengals Prop Bets: NFL Week 13 Prop Betting Picks
Justin Herbert: Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-150) at Caesars
I don’t mind laying the juice if it’s a player prop with a positive expected value like this one. Herbert is averaging a hefty 39.8 pass attempts per game, and more attempts mean more chances at passing touchdowns.
Sure enough, Herbert has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in seven of his last nine games. This matchup projects as a shootout according to our NFL gameday odds with a total of around 50 points.
We can thus expect Herbert to throw for multiple touchdowns in this one, especially since it figures to be a close game with Cincy slightly favored at home.
Accordingly, we shouldn’t have to worry about a blowout and run-heavy game script here. Fire up Herbert.

Austin Ekeler: Over 4.5 Receptions (-135) at Caesars
Ekeler has been one of the main benefactors from Herbert’s gunslinging, averaging six targets and 4.6 receptions per game this season. He’s tallied six catches in each of his last two games and three of his past five.

Look for him to be busy against a Bengals defense that’s allowed the most targets (107) and second-most receptions (81) to running backs in the NFL this year. That’s an average of 9.7 targets and 7.4 receptions per game.
Ekeler is one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL and should be able to sail over this number, making this our NFL bet of the day.
Ja’Marr Chase: Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at Caesars
Chase is averaging 82.4 receiving yards per game this year as Burrow’s favorite weapon, notching at least 65 receiving yards in six of his first 11 career games.
The Chargers’ defense has been getting shredded lately, especially in the secondary. LA has given up big games to opposing wideouts in recent weeks, including Diontae Johnson (101 receiving yards), Justin Jefferson (143 receiving yards), and DeVonta Smith (116 receiving yards).
Chase wasn’t needed much in Cincy’s last two games (both blowout victories), but he should be more active in a closer, high-scoring game here.
