The Washington Football Team (5-6) will head to Allegiant Stadium to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (6-5) in this Week 13 inter-conference battle.
Washington put together an unlikely victory on Monday Night Football in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks and now remains in the mix for a playoff spot. The Football Team has now won three games in a row against the Buccaneers, Panthers, and the aforementioned Seahawks. Trending in the right direction, Washington will look to get its record back to .500 against the Raiders on the road.
Las Vegas has been on the other end of the spectrum recently, losing three of its last four game. However, the Raiders did put together an impressive overtime victory in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. Playing in one of the toughest divisions in football, they still have a realistic chance at a playoff spot.
This game has some serious playoff implications for both teams despite us still being a month away from the league’s final week of play.
Please note that all NFL gameday odds are current as of 9:00 a.m. ET on Friday, December 3.
Washington vs Raiders Prediction
With both teams fighting for a playoff spot, Washington and Las Vegas will be giving it their all down the stretch and I expect this game to be an excellent one.
Taylor Heinicke has filled in well enough at quarterback lately for Washington as it tries to keep its season afloat. Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson have continued to do their part within the offense to help alleviate some of the pressure on their young signal caller.

The Raiders’ offense fired on all cylinders last week but it will likely be missing one of its biggest pieces in tight end Darren Waller (knee), who is considered week-to-week on the injury report.
Wideouts Hunter Renfrow and recently acquired DeSean Jackson will have to continue to put up big numbers in the receiving game if the Raiders want to stay in this contest against a solid front seven for Washington.
Prediction: Washington 24, Raiders 21
Washington vs Raiders Best Bets
Best Bet: Washington Moneyline (+100) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
I’m taking the road underdog in this fight. As of Wednesday morning, 84 percent of bets and 94 percent of the money is on the Raiders to win this game and cover 2.5 points, but I like Washington’s chances given the roll it’s on right now.
The loss of Darren Waller for the Raiders will sting mightily and Washington’s defense, while not a particularly good unit, will be able to manage a short-handed Las Vegas offense.
I’m backing Washington to pull out the surprise victory here. I like the moneyline as our NFL pick of the day, but wouldn’t mind playing Washington ATS if you were to buy points to get to +3 or +3.5.
Best Bet: Under 49.5 Total Points (-110) at BetMGM

Raiders’ games have gone 6-5 to the Over this season while Washington’s have gone 5-6 to the Over. Interestingly enough, those figures also represent each team’s record.
Washington wins games when they are kept low-scoring and the Raiders would much rather play an offense-oriented game with their weak defense that ranks in the bottom third of the league in DVOA.
Back the under — I would be comfortable playing this down to 48.5.
