Welcome to the last Wednesday of the 2021-22 NBA regular season. Playoff spots have been decided, but there’s still a lot on the line in terms of seeding for most teams.
With the season winding down, let’s make tonight count with our best NBA bets today.
Please note that all NBA gameday odds are current as of Wednesday, April 6, at 10 a.m. ET from Caesars Sportsbook.
Nick’s 2021-22 NBA Betting Record: 28-29-0
NBA Bets 4/6/22: Brooklyn Nets @ New York Knicks
Best Bet: Nets -6 (-110) at Caesars
Wager: 1 Unit
The Brooklyn Nets (41-38) have had a strange season, but are finally getting close to full strength as they enter the play-in tournament.
Currently tied with Atlanta for eighth, the Nets still have a chance to slide into seventh if the Cavaliers falter down the stretch. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving finally get to play alongside each other with some consistency and that should do wonders for the Nets.
The Knicks (35-44) have had a letdown of a season after last year’s performance, and don’t have anything to play for over their last three games.
They’ve won six of their last 10, but they don’t have much going for them other than R.J. Barrett, who is averaging 23.3 points over his last 10 games.
While I don’t usually like to lean on motivation as a major factor, this is the time of year when it actually matters. Look for the Nets to coast tonight in our NBA bet of the day.

NBA Bets 4/6/22: Washington Wizards @ Atlanta Hawks
Best Bet: Hawks -10.5 (-110) at Caesars
Wager: 1 Unit
The Hawks (41-38) have had a relatively disappointing season after their unexpected playoff run last year, but they’re starting to peak at the right time.
They’ve won seven of their last 10 games, and Trae Young has been on fire as of late with averages of 29.7 points and 11.1 assists per game during that stretch.
The Wizards (35-44) played above their heads to begin the season but will finish the season out of the playoff picture after playing without Bradley Beal for the past two months.

Kristaps Porzingis has been playing well as of late and is averaging 23.3 points per game over his last 10, but he doesn’t have much help around him.
With the Hawks jostling for playoff seeding, I think their motivation combined with their recent play will be enough to cover a relatively large spread here.
NBA Bets 4/6/22: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Utah Jazz
Best Bet: Jazz -16.5 (-110) at Caesars
Wager: 1 Unit
The Jazz (47-32) have been slipping down the standings as of late and are in danger of dropping to the sixth spot in the Western Conference.
Despite last night’s overtime win against the Grizzlies, Utah has lost six of its last 10 games. Rudy Gobert had a monster 22-point, 21-rebound performance last night, while Donovan Mitchell has been a beast as of late in putting up 27.7 points per game over his last 10.
The Thunder (24-55) are in full rebuild mode, but they’re finishing the season on a high note as they’ve now won two straight (baby steps).
Though the Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the rest of the season, Jaylen Hoard had a 24-point, 21-rebound game Tuesday, so there have been some bright spots.
Bright spots aside, the Thunder are basically throwing out a G-League roster and should have a tough time keeping up with a motivated Jazz squad playing at home.
