Saints vs Titans Predictions Week 10 | Best NFL Bets Today

Last Updated: Nov 13, 2021

The New Orleans Saints (5-3) will head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans (7-2) in this Week 10 battle.

The Saints are in a strange spot now with a dicey quarterback situation in the wake of Jameis Winston‘s (torn ACL, MCL damage) season-ending injury. New Orleans turned to former Broncos signal caller Trevor Siemian in Week 9 and he looked pretty decent against a lackluster Falcons defense.

The Titans are dealing with a major injury of their own. Arguably the best running back in pro football, Derrick Henry (foot) will miss an extended period of time.

Tennessee hit the waiver wire and signed future Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson to help supplement the backfield. Despite missing Henry, the Titans still handed the Rams a double-digit loss and look like they are still in good shape.

This should be an interesting matchup as both teams are fairly hard to evaluate. While the Saints’ quarterback situation is tough to gauge with the presence of Taysom Hill, the crowded Titans running back room is just as difficult to navigate.

Please note that all Saints vs. Titans odds are current as of 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, November 12.

Saints vs. Titans Prediction

First and foremost, I believe the Titans are the better team in this fight and their record indicates it. Despite losing Henry, they still steamrolled arguably the best team in the league last week in the Rams.

This new-look Saints team is coming off a loss to the lowly Atlanta Falcons. They upset the Buccaneers in Week 8, but that seems like so long ago now with the Winston injury.

If the quartet of Tennessee Titans running backs can keep moving the chains as they did in Week 9, I think Tennessee wins this game handily. Their defense has not looked as electric as it did last season, but the Saints’ offense isn’t loaded outside of Alvin Kamara.

Prediction: Titans 28, Saints 21

Saints vs. Titans Best Bets

Best Bet: Titans -3 (+105) at Betfred

Wager: 1.5 units

I’m backing the Titans all day here with just a field goal spread. I’m very low on the Saints and while I do not believe the Titans are as good as their record indicates without Henry, they are still the superior team and I believe it is by a touchdown or more.

I am backing the Titans to cover by just one field goal against a team with an uncertain quarterback situation that features Siemian and a gadget player.

Best Bet: Over 44 Total Points (-105) at Betfred

Wager: 0.5 units

Across this preview, I have mentioned the offensive shortcomings of both sides. However, I believe this 44-point total is an overcorrection for these injuries. The Saints rank third in defensive DVOA, and the Titans rank tenth, but I have a feeling this game goes against the grain and hits the over ever-so-slightly.
