It was a brutal week for the parlays, as the Bills scored a meaningless touchdown with one minute left to go up by 15 points. This allowed them to cover the 14.5-point spread, costing us our same game parlay.
My Team vs Team predictions have been successful, as I’m currently up over 9 units for the season. It’s only a matter of time before the parlays catch up.
Let’s take a deeper dive to see what my favorite parlay bets are for Week 9 in the NFL pick of the day series!
Please note that all odds are from Caesars Sportsbook, current as of Monday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

NFL Week 9 Top Parlay Picks
Wager: 2 units to win 11.62 units (+581)
- Houston Texans +6.5 (-110) at Caesars (at Miami Dolphins)
- Atlanta Falcons +6 (-110) at Caesars (vs at Orleans Saints)
- Los Angeles Chargers -2.5 (-115) at Caesars (at Philadelphia Eagles)
Houston Texans +6.5 (-110) at Caesars (at Miami Dolphins)
The Texans are currently on a seven-game losing streak, losing by an average of 19.6 points per game. This team is struggling in all facets of the game, but it’s important to dive deeper here.
Houston has played the Browns, Panthers, Bills, Patriots, Colts, Cardinals, and Rams during this stretch. That list features three Super Bowl contenders (Bills, Cardinals, and Rams) and four teams that can challenge for playoff spots (Browns, Panthers, Patriots, and Colts).
They now take on a Dolphins team that has the same record, and at 1-7, Miami has no business laying seven points against any team.
There’s also an outside chance that Texans’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor returns for this game, as he almost made it back for last week against the Rams. If Taylor plays, this is a totally different team, which will be reflected in the NFL gameday odds.
Atlanta Falcons +6 (-110) at Caesars (at New Orleans Saints)
The Falcons are coming off a disappointing home loss against the division rival Panthers. They now travel to New Orleans to take on another rival. The Saints are riding high coming off an upset win over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
The problem is that the Saints just lost quarterback Jameis Winston for the season. Taysom Hill remains in concussion protocol, putting his status in question for this week’s game.
That leaves Trevor Siemian as the potential Saints’ starter. While the veteran backup did a good job in relief, it’s hard to feel comfortable laying nearly a touchdown against a division rival here.
If Hill is able to play, I still like the Falcons plus the points, but if it’s Siemian, I absolutely love this play.
Los Angeles Chargers -2.5 (-115) at Caesars (at Philadelphia Eagles)
The Chargers are reeling after consecutive losses to the Ravens and Patriots, putting them at 4-3 for the season. This is the ideal get-right spot against an Eagles team that just surprisingly blew out the Lions.
This line feels like a bit of an overreaction to Los Angeles’ upset loss to the Patriots combined with Philly’s impressive road win in Detroit. The Chargers are better in every facet of the game and should be able to get back on track with a win here.
The Eagles remain one of the worst teams in the NFC despite their win, so take advantage of the short spread in this spot. Look for Justin Herbert to excel in this get-right game.
NFL Week 9 Longshot Parlay Prediction
Wager: 0.5 units to win 4.78 units (+956)
- Houston Texans Moneyline (+230) at Caesars (at Miami Dolphins)
- Atlanta Falcons Moneyline (+220) at Caesars (at New Orleans Saints)
Houston Texans Moneyline (+230) at Caesars (at Miami Dolphins)
We’re going with a different strategy with this week’s longshot parlay and reducing it to two games featuring big underdogs.
The Texans have a decent chance of winning this game outright. You have to love the value at (+235) in a game of two 1-7 teams. Miami has struggled on defense this season and should not be favored by so many points.
This bet becomes even better if Tyrod Taylorplays, but let’s not forget that this Texans team came close to upsetting the Patriots a couple of weeks ago. Rookie quarterback Davis Mills went off in that game, and there’s definitely a chance that he does the same against a struggling Dolphins pass defense.
Atlanta Falcons Moneyline (+220) at Caesars (at New Orleans Saints)
Here we have another misprice with Trevor Siemian laying nearly a touchdown at home. Obviously, if Taysom Hillis able to play, this bet is harder to hit, but the Falcons still look like a live dog with a chance to win outright here.
It’s too many points for a division game, especially with a New Orleans offense that has been pretty average throughout the season. It’s also the ideal letdown spot with the Saints shocking the Buccaneers last week.
Let’s roll with the Falcons to complete our longshot parlay and make this our NFL bet of the day.
Same Game Parlay Picks NFL Week 9
Los Angeles Rams vs Tennessee Titans
Wager: 1 unit to win 2.64 units
- Los Angeles Rams -7.5 (-110) at Caesars
- Total Points Under 54 (-110) at Caesars
The Titans just lost Derrick Henry for at least the next several weeks, which will have a huge impact on their offense. It’s unclear how Ryan Tannehill will respond with the best running back in football out of the lineup.
Tennessee has depended on Henry to move the chains. Now they head to Los Angeles to take on what might be the best team in the NFL right now.
The Rams’ passing game just keeps rolling along, with Matthew Stafford looking like the frontrunner for NFL MVP. Tennessee has one of the worst pass defenses in the league and will struggle to contain this high-octane attack.
Add in the fact that Los Angeles just added pass-rusher Von Miller to a defense that already includes superstars Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, and this game could spell disaster for the Titans.
When you combine the uncertainty on offense due to Henry’s absence with the improved Rams defense and elite passing game, you have the recipe for a potential blowout.
This makes it difficult to see the Titans scoring enough points to allow this total to go Over the number.
Roll with the Rams and the Under in this spot.
