Yordan Alvarez To Record 2+ Hits
Yordan Alvarez has been on another level this postseason, slashing .441/.535/.794 with 15 hits. He comes into this series on fire, having carried the Astros over the Red Sox.
Alvarez has put up two or more hits in three consecutive games. During that stretch, he’s gone 9-for-13 with one homer and four RBI. Simply put, Alvarez is the hottest hitter in baseball right now.
Jose Altuve To Record 2+ Hits
Jose Altuve has struggled in October, slashing .200/.327/.475, but he’s showing signs of life, hitting safely in two of his last three games.
It’s important to remember that Altuve has shown that he’s capable of hitting for contact, batting over .300 five times throughout his career. Getting two hits here is totally within reach.

Michael Brantley To Record 2+ Hits
Michael Brantley hasn’t been nearly as dominant as teammate Yordan Alvarez during these playoffs, but the veteran has still racked up 14 hits.
Brantley is starting to pick it up, hitting safely in four consecutive games, including two games where he put up two hits. This is a contact hitter who has demonstrated the ability to hit .300 on a consistent basis in the big leagues.
Pitching Matchup: Charlie Morton
These three Astros hitters bat at the top of the order, with Altuve in the leadoff spot, Brantley in the two-hole, and Alvarez as the cleanup hitter.
This bodes well for their chances at hitting this parlay because they’ll have more plate appearances due to their spots in the lineup.
Charlie Morton starts for the Braves. The veteran has been pretty solid this postseason, putting up a 3.77 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 14.1 innings.
However, he’s only pitched a combined 8.1 innings in his last two playoff starts, allowing seven hits during that span. This is also a tough matchup for Morton against one of the best offenses in baseball.
World Series Game 1 Parlay (+850) at BetMGM
At +850 odds, this MLB bet of the day is worth a look. These are three hitters with the ability to hit for contact. Each of them can hit .300 over the course of a full season. Alvarez is absolutely mashing right now, while Brantley and Altuve are showing early signs of a hot streak.
While this is a longshot parlay, you have to like the correlation because each of these hitters bat close to each other in the Astros’ lineup. There’s a good chance that if Houston wins this game, these three hitters are playing a prominent role.
