The White Sox are officially listed as the home team, but this is the Field of Dreams game that will be played in Iowa. It’s a great matchup for the White Sox’s lineup against Andrew Heaney, especially in the power department considering that he has allowed 1.8 HR/9.
Jose Abreu has been one of their top sluggers with 22 home runs this season and he has a career .249 ISO against left-handed pitchers, so I’ll take a chance here at such favorable odds.

Don’t be surprised if Heaney is hit hard in this game, leading to a short outing and few strikeouts. Despite all of their injuries this season, the White Sox still have a .752 OPS against left-handed pitchers.
The last time they faced him, Heaney allowed seven runs and had only four strikeouts over three innings. Now that Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert are both back, this could get ugly in a hurry for Heaney.
Lance Lynn, Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees

Following the belief that Heaney struggles in this game, Lance Lynn could be in a great position to earn a victory. He’s been as good as it gets this season, recording a 2.04 ERA and a 3.01 FIP. The key to his success has been a 1.05 WHIP and allowing only 0.8 HR/9.
Also working in his favor to earn a win is that the Yankees have a depleted lineup right now with Anthony Rizzo (COVID-19), Gary Sanchez (COVID-19), Gio Urshela (hamstring) and Gleyber Torres (thumb) all on the IL.
