New York Giants 2021 Schedule Opponents

  • x2 Dallas Cowboys (Home, Away)
  • x2 Philadelphia Eagles (Home, Away)
  • x2 Washington Football Team (Home, Away)
  • vs. Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams
  • @ Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins

The Giants have some tough road matchups ahead of them next season, including contests against both reigning conference champions. Their home schedule is more favorable, however, featuring softer opponents such as the Falcons, Panthers, and Broncos.

Joe Judge‘s Giants went 6-10 in his first year as head coach, and if it weren’t for Evan Engram‘s phantom drop against the Eagles in Week 7, New York would’ve won the NFC East with a record of 7-9. After building a solid foundation in 2020, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman went out and stocked up on talent with several high-priced signings in free agency.

Now, third-year quarterback Daniel Jones has a slew of weapons on offense, including running back Saquon Barkley and newly-signed wide receiver Kenny Golladay. The offensive line also made progress in 2020, and the hope is that they can continue to improve next season. The Giants’ offense struggled mightily last season under new offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, however, ranking 31st in PPG (17.5), so there’s still a long way to go.

On the other side of the ball, Patrick Graham proved that he is a rising star as a defensive coordinator in the NFL, limiting opponents to the 9th-fewst PPG last year (22.3). His defense could be even better this year after adding cornerback Adoree’ Jackson in free agency along with promising draftees Azeez Ojulari and Aaron Robinson.

Giants To Win Over 7 Games in 2021-2022 NFL Season (-125)

After barely missing the playoffs last year, the Giants beefed up their roster during the offseason and should once again be in the postseason hunt. Their defense will keep games close, and their improved offense should be able to convert more of those tight affairs into victories. With the NFC East still up for grabs, New York has the talent to win it if everything clicks into place.
