Rashid Shaheed was a shrewd acquisition by the Seahawks at the trade deadline, reuniting him with offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who worked with him in the same role while with the Saints.

While Shaheed has been quieter than expected after being dealt to Seattle, he has the speed to take the top off an opposing defense. This was demonstrated in the NFC Championship with a 51-yard reception against the Rams.

Below, we’ll look at the best Rashid Shaheed props for Super Bowl 60. This dynamic playmaker could be an X-factor for the Seahawks offense.

Rashid Shaheed Super Bowl Props

All NFL odds used for these Rashid Shaheed Super Bowl props are current as of Thursday, Feb. 5, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Rashid Shaheed: Over 22.5 Receiving Yards (-110) vs Patriots

Shaheed runs deep routes downfield at times, as highlighted by his 11.4 average depth of target this season. We saw this against the Rams in the NFC Championship, where he hauled in a 51-yard reception on Seattle’s opening drive.

In a game with good weather in Santa Clara, it’s a nice spot for the Seahawks to try to find Shaheed downfield. He can make big plays and change the game on a dime.

While he combined for only 10 yards in four games before his 51-yard catch, we’ve seen him show a high ceiling at times, including 74 yards against the Colts and 67 yards against the Falcons.

Considering these circumstances, we’ll take Shaheed over 22.5 receiving yards in our NFL pick of the day.

Rashid Shaheed: Over 4.5 Rushing Yards (-116) vs Patriots

One area where we’ve seen Kubiak try to use Shaheed is in the running game.

Shaheed had one carry for zero yards against the Rams, but two attempts for 27 yards in the game before that versus the 49ers.

The Patriots have an elite run defense with defensive tackle Milton Williams in the lineup. They’ve completely shut down opposing running games throughout the playoffs.

With that in mind, perhaps getting the ball to Shaheed in space would be a good way to overcome this run defense.

It’s a low bar at 4.5 rushing yards, giving us opportunities to take alternate lines at 10+ or 20+ to add some solid value to our Super Bowl prop bets.

Rashid Shaheed: Super Bowl MVP (+3000) vs Patriots

Here’s my favorite longshot in the Super Bowl MVP odds, as you can get Shaheed to win the award at +3000. Let’s play out a scenario where this can happen.

Imagine it’s a low-scoring game, which isn’t out of the realm of possibility given the 45.5-point total. Now, let’s say that Shaheed, the Seahawks’ primary kick returner, returns one for a touchdown, something he’s already done in these playoffs.

Now, let’s say that Shaheed also catches a deep pass for a touchdown. If this were to happen, I’d say Shaheed would win this award.

Do note that a kick-return TD isn’t necessary; we can hit this even if he goes off for 80 yards and a score, as long as it’s a low-scoring game.
