The league’s best and brightest will be on display at the 75th NBA All-Star Game this Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The NBA has introduced a new format this year. There are three teams: USA Stars, USA Stripes, and Team World. The Stars and Stripes will include American players, while Team World has international players. Each team plays each other once, and the top two meet in the championship.
This change will hopefully make the games more intriguing and will undoubtedly affect how we analyze the candidates for the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP Award.

NBA All-Star Game MVP Best Bet
Nikola Jokic (+2200)
Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in the NBA. While he’s had an injury-plagued season, the superstar production is still there, including 28.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists.
Jokic has won the NBA MVP award three times, but he’s never won All-Star Game MVP. Perhaps this can be the year.
I’m loving the value here at (+2200) odds, especially since I think that Team World will win this competition. It’s going to be tough to stop them with Jokic alongside Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama.
Jokic has the ability to stuff the stat sheet, so I’ll ride with the player who is second in the NBA MVP odds to take home this trophy as well.
Back Jokic with your NBA bet of the day.
NBA All-Star Game MVP Favorite
Victor Wembanyama (+425)
Victor Wembanyama has lived up to the hype as a generational talent who can make a major impact on both ends of the floor. We’re seeing that with the Spurs taking the next step towards becoming legitimate championship contenders.
This could be a spot where Wemby puts in a strong effort to announce that it’s his league now. Besides going off in the playoffs, what better way to make a statement than to dominate the All-Star Game?
As mentioned above, I like going with Team World to win this, so Wemby looks like a solid bet. I just prefer Jokic due to the much better price.

NBA All-Star Game MVP Contender
Jaylen Brown (+1000)
Jaylen Brown has had a phenomenal season, putting the Celtics on his back in Jayson Tatum’s absence. We could see more of the same in the All-Star Game.
It seems that this has been a year where Brown is driven to prove that he’s not just Tatum’s sidekick, but a superstar wing in his own right.
If Brown can lead USA Stripes to a win, there’s a chance that he secures this award.
NBA All-Star Game MVP Sleeper
Kawhi Leonard (+2500)
Kawhi Leonard won All-Star Game MVP back in 2020. I like his chances of a second win, since he’ll be playing in front of a home crowd in Inglewood, California.
As with Brown, if Kawhi can lead USA Stripes to a win, he’d be in line to secure this award. You have to love the price at (+2500) odds.
Given that value, Kawhi is my second-favorite bet for All-Star Game MVP, behind Jokic.
