NFL Wild Card Weekend is a great time to go wild with prop bets.
With only six games on the schedule, it’s easier to hone in on what players are poised to excel and what players have a tough matchup.
After taking a close look at each game, I came up with the best NFL Wild Card props for the first weekend of the playoffs.
All NFL odds used for these Wild Card player props are current as of Friday, Jan. 9, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best NFL Wild Card Player Props
Best QB Prop: Jordan Love: Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-104) @ Bears
The Bears had one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL during the regular season, giving up 7.6 yards per pass and 32 passing touchdowns.
Only four teams, none of whom sniffed the playoffs, gave up more touchdowns through the air.
While we haven’t seen Love since the Bears knocked him out with a concussion the weekend before Christmas, he should be healthy and ready to take advantage of Chicago’s leaky secondary.
Love had three passing touchdowns in a Week 14 win over the Bears, so it’s not hard to imagine him having at least two in the Wild Card Round.

Best RB Prop: Travis Etienne Jr.: Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-114) vs Bills
It’s been a little slow going lately for Etienne, who’s been held to 50 rushing yards or less in four of his last six games.
But we’re still talking about a back who had over 1,100 rushing yards this season, so his upside is high.

More importantly, a threshold of 63.5 rushing yards is more than manageable against a Buffalo defense that gave up 5.1 yards per carry during the regular season.
The Bills will want to slow down Trevor Lawrence and the passing game, which should open up opportunities for Etienne to have a productive game.
Best WR Prop: Nico Collins: Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-113) @ Steelers
Lost in Pittsburgh’s Week 18 win was how atrocious their secondary played. They gave up several big plays, allowing Zay Flowers to gain 138 yards on just four catches.
Collins is the type of receiver who can take advantage of defensive issues on the back end.
There were only two games all season in which Collins had fewer than 50 receiving yards, so he’s always productive, and with a favorable matchup, he should have no problem exceeding 68 yards.

Best TE Prop: Colston Loveland: Over 3.5 Receptions (-191) vs Packers
This is among my favorite NFL Wild Card prop bets because no tight end was better during the final two weeks of the season than Loveland.
Even though the Bears lost both games, he had 16 catches for 185 yards and two touchdowns in Weeks 17 and 18.

More importantly, he’s caught at least four passes in four of his last five games, and hasn’t had fewer than three receptions since October.
With the Packers allowing 5.5 catches per game by opposing tight ends, Loveland is a great player to back this week.
Best Plus-Money Prop: Puka Nacua: 130+ Receiving Yards (+299) @ Panthers
If you want to take a chance on a bet with a big payoff, Nacua is the player to target.
He’s looked unstoppable down the stretch, going off for 160 receiving yards or more in three of his last five games.
In fact, Nacua had five games this season with at least 130 receiving yards, which is why I chose this number.
Knowing that they lost to the Panthers earlier this season in a game in which Nacua had just six catches for 72 yards, Matthew Stafford will look to Nacua early and often to make sure that doesn’t happen again, setting the receiver up for another monster game.
