Rather quietly, DeMario Douglas has been a key contributor for the Patriots this season.
The third-year receiver has mostly played a complementary role, although that doesn’t mean he should be overlooked heading into Super Bowl LX.
Since he’s played in all 20 of New England’s games this season, it’s worth looking at some DeMario Douglas props for the Super Bowl.
DeMario Douglas Super Bowl Props
All NFL odds used for these DeMario Douglas Super Bowl props are current as of Thursday, Feb. 5, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
DeMario Douglas: Under 1.5 Receptions (-202) vs Seahawks
The over for 1.5 receptions by Douglas is priced at +157, so this is one of those all-or-nothing Super Bowl prop bets.
Typically, I would take a chance on the plus-money odds, but not in this case. Douglas has multiple catches in just two of his last seven games, and both of the games in which he caught multiple passes came while Mack Hollins was sidelined.
With Hollins back, Douglas will be back on the bench and may not get enough snaps during the Super Bowl to catch two passes.
Take the under as your NFL pick of the day.
DeMario Douglas: Under 10.5 Receiving Yards (-113) vs Seahawks
The reasons I think Douglas will be held under 1.5 receptions are the same reasons he’ll be held below 10.5 receiving yards.
He’s only gone over 10.5 receiving yards twice in his last seven games, and again, both of those games happened while Mack Hollins was out with an injury.

Douglas was a non-factor in the AFC Championship Game, as well as the last two regular-season games that Hollins played before he got hurt.
That translates to Douglas being a non-factor in the Super Bowl.
DeMario Douglas: Over 0.5 1st Quarter Receiving Yards (+336) vs Seahawks
Admittedly, this bet goes against my other two DeMario Douglas props.
However, this is an interesting way to hedge, just in case Douglas makes a surprise appearance early to catch the Seahawks off guard.

Douglas making a catch in the first quarter is priced at +280, but if he were to make a catch in the first quarter and gain at least one yard on that catch, the odds are +336.
It might be a little foolish, but this is one of the most valuable receiving props in the Super Bowl that doesn’t require a Herculean effort by a player.
