One of the wrinkles with the NFL Week 15 schedule is that we start getting Saturday games as we approach Christmas, including this weekend’s showdown between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.
Both teams are coming off byes but were on fire prior to Week 14. The Patriots have won seven in a row to take control of the AFC East, while the Colts have won six of eight to vault themselves into playoff contention.

Patriots vs Colts Prop Bets: NFL Week 15 Prop Betting Picks
Patriots Winning Quarters: Four (+2600) at Caesars
With New England being underdogs here, this is definitely a longshot wager. With limited player props available, however, these are the kind of props we’ll look to for value’s sake.
While the Patriots are on the road, they should win this game. They’re 6-0 away from home this season and boast the best defense in the NFL, which is allowing just 15.4 points per game. They also have an outstanding backfield that will keep the ball away from Indy, specifically Jonathan Taylor.

The final score will probably be close, which would make it difficult for New England to win every quarter, but again, this play is about value. If any team is going to win this game by double digits, it’s the Patriots.
At +2600, I’ll take New England to outscore Indianapolis each quarter for our NFL bet of the day.

1st Half Moneyline: Patriots (+115) at Caesars
While the Colts rank third in scoring this year, they’re going to find it difficult to put up points against the stingiest unit in the NFL. New England’s defense will be fresh coming off the bye, whereas it may take a while for Indy’s offense to warm up and get in the flow of the game.
Meanwhile, the Patriots will likely come out running against a Colts defense that has surrendered 30+ points in three of their last six games. Look for New England to methodically build up an early lead behind their defense and ground game.
Winning Margin: Patriots 1-6 (+330) at Caesars
Given the proficiency of both defenses and rushing attacks, this figures to be a close, low-scoring game with lots of field goals rather than touchdowns.
The spread on our NFL gameday odds is currently Colts -2.5, so this game will likely be decided by less than a touchdown. I’m going to flip it and take the Pats, though, who are firing on all cylinders and haven’t lost since mid-October.
I’m predicting New England will win 27-21.
