Over the last decade-plus, the NBA has truly embraced the long ball.
Players and teams are taking and making more three-pointers than ever before, but one continues to outpace the rest of the league.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has led the NBA in threes made each of the past five seasons. Will he continue he reign as three-point king, or will someone finally come for his throne?
Below, I’ll assess the latest NBA three-pointers made leader odds and make my picks for the 2025-26 campaign.

Who Will Be the NBA Three-Pointers Made Leader in 2025-26?
Stephen Curry (-140)
While I don’t typically recommend betting futures props with minus-money odds, I’m not betting against the NBA’s all-time leader in made threes.
Although Curry turned 37 in March, he hasn’t shown many signs of slowing down. The Warriors point guard has attempted at least 11 threes per game each of the past five seasons and still connects on nearly 40% of his attempts.
Curry averaged 4.4 made threes per game last season, and he remains an integral part of the Golden State setup.
As long as he stays healthy, he should remain the NBA’s leader in made threes. Back Curry to retain his crown as your NBA bet of the day.
NBA Three-Pointers Made Leader Favorites
Anthony Edwards (+475)
If anyone is going to dethrone Curry this season, it probably will be Anthony Edwards.
The Minnesota Timberwolves star was the only other player to average more than four three-pointers per game last season (4.1). That came as a result of a clear intention to attempt more shots from distance, as Edwards took a career-high 10.3 threes per game, way up from his previous high of 8.4.
That mark could rise further this season, especially since the 24-year-old shot a career-best 39.5% from behind the arc despite the increase in volume.
While Curry is the clear favorite, I think Edwards is a worthwhile bet to lead the league in threes.
Luka Doncic (+950)
Doncic is among the favorites in the NBA scoring leader odds, which makes sense considering his proficiency from long range.
The Los Angeles Lakers star averaged 3.5 made threes per game last year despite attempting fewer than 10 per game (9.6). Doncic also missed 32 games with injury and had to adjust following his shocking mid-season trade from the Dallas Mavericks.
I expect the 26-year-old to return to his peak form this season, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he rivals his 2023-24 season averages of 4.1 made threes on 10.6 attempts.
If Doncic does that, he’ll rival Curry and Edwards for the league lead in made threes.
NBA Three-Pointers Made Leader Contenders
Payton Pritchard (+1200)
Of the 26 players who attempted seven or more three-pointers per game last season, only five shot better than 40% from behind the arc.
One of those players was Payton Pritchard (40.7% on 7.8 three-point attempts per game), and the Boston Celtics guard could be in for an increased role this season with star Jayson Tatum injured.
The Celtics lean into the analytics, living and dying by the three ball, and Tatum attempted the third-most threes per game in the league last season (10.1).
I expect those attempts to be re-distributed among his teammates, giving Pritchard the potential to average double-digit attempts per game. If he continues to connect at a better than 40% clip, something he has done in three of his five NBA seasons (albeit at differing volumes), he could put himself in the mix.
Derrick White (+1400)
The same story goes for Derrick White, Pritchard’s backcourt mate with the Celtics.
However, I actually like White’s chances more because his volume was already quite high. The 31-year-old was one of seven players last season to average at least nine three-point attempts per game (9.1), and he made 3.5 per contest.
White has historically played more minutes than Pritchard, who comes off the bench, and that rotation could continue if Boston doesn’t find a trade partner for Anfernee Simons, who it acquired in the Jrue Holiday deal.
NBA Three-Pointers Made Leader Sleeper
Brandon Miller (+1800)
Miller made just 27 appearances last season before undergoing wrist surgery, but the former No. 2 overall pick wasn’t shy about getting his shots up when healthy.
The 22-year-old Alabama product averaged 18.2 field-goal attempts per game across those 27 contests, 10.9 of which came from behind the arc.
Despite shooting just 35.5% from three, Miller still averaged nearly four made threes per game. Health could be a concern, but the upside is there for the Charlotte Hornets forward.
