Super Bowl Halftime Prop Bets 2025

Last Updated: Feb 6, 2025

The Super Bowl is the biggest television spectacle in the United States each year because it goes far beyond the game. Football fandom is an afterthought for many viewers, who prefer the comedy of the commercials and will be locked in for the must-see concert of the year: the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Kendrick Lamar, fresh off winning five Grammys last weekend, will headline the halftime performance during Super Bowl 59, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 9, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The 37-year-old rapper has a lengthy library of hits and is regarded as one of the most influential performers of his generation.

Below, I’ll discuss some songs I expect Kendrick Lamar to perform during the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and provide details of how to wager on Super Bowl Halftime Show prop bets.

Super Bowl Halftime Show 2025

Kendrick Lamar has graced the Super Bowl halftime stage previously. However, he was part of a larger ensemble of performers that included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige at Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Compton, California native will now be the featured act, joining a long list of massive stars who have performed during the Super Bowl halftime show in recent years, including:

  • Usher
  • The Weeknd
  • Shakira & Jennifer Lopez
  • Maroon 5
  • Justin Timberlake
  • Lady Gaga
  • Coldplay
  • Katy Perry
  • Bruno Mars
  • Beyoncé
  • Rihanna

It has already been confirmed that Grammy-winning R&B singer, song-writer SZA will join Kendrick on stage at some point during the performance.

The two are heading on tour together in April and have previously collaborated on multiple works, including “Luther," “All the Stars," “Toxic Love," and “30 for 30."

Kendrick Lamar Halftime Show Setlist & Guest Predictions

Let’s make some predictions on the halftime show, taking a look at the setlist and additional surprise guests.

“Not Like Us"

The song responsible for Lamar’s five recent Grammy victories, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, will surely feature at some point.

But will it be the opener or the finale? Time will tell.

“HUMBLE."

This hit off the 2017 album “DAMN." is Lamar’s most popular song on Spotify, earning nearly 2.5 billion plays on the audio streaming service.

“Money Trees"

Lamar has hinted that his performance will focus on storytelling, and “Money Trees" tells quite the story. It’s also his third-most streamed song on Spotify and the highest from his second album: “Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City."

“Swimming Pools (Drank)"

I don’t know if this 2012 hit from the same album will make the setlist, but it’s a personal favorite of mine, so I’m hoping it does.

“All the Stars"

Given the stars that will be on display (and in attendance) when the Chiefs meet the Eagles, this collaboration with SZA feels like a lock to make the setlist.

“Luther"

Here’s another song for the SZA section. Luther is currently outstreaming “Not like Us" on Spotify, averaging over 5 million plays per day, the most of any Kendrick song.

I could break down another 5-10 songs, but let’s stop here to look at some other acts that could join Kendrick Lamar on stage.

Baby Keem

The 24-year-old rapper is the odds-on favorite to join Kendrick on stage, which shouldn’t come as a surprise since the two are cousins. Baby Keem is one of the top artists on Kendrick’s PGLang record label, and it would be fitting for them to perform “Family Ties."

Taylor Swift

We know Taylor Swift will be in the building to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, but could she make a surprise appearance on stage?

She and Kendrick collaborated on the 2014 hit “Bad Blood," which could be part of the setlist. If Swift doesn’t help perform it, she’ll undoubtedly attract attention from the TV cameras.

Master P

After taking part in the LA-based ensemble three years ago, it wouldn’t be shocking if Lamar decides to bring a New Orleans native on stage Sunday.

Lil Wayne would be the obvious choice, but he publicly expressed his disappointment that Lamar got the gig over him. I don’t know if Kendrick would extend an olive branch after that.

That could open the door for someone like Master P to step in.

Can You Make Super Bowl Halftime Show Prop Bets?

While the halftime show is a Super Bowl Prop Sheet staple in the United States, you can’t actually bet on the props at legal online sportsbooks. However, you can if you’re located in Ontario, Canada.

FanDuel Sportsbook is giving Ontario bettors the chance to wager on multiple props including song total, guest performances, first song, and the performance of a new song. Each of these betting markets can help make the halftime show a more enjoyable experience.
