NFL Prop Bets for Week 11

Cam Newton Under 215.5 passing yards (-115)

Cam Newton has flashed as a passer this season, but his bread and butter has been exploiting his rushing skillset. While the Texans are allowing the 15th most passing yards per game (241.7) this season, which is 26.2 more yards than the 215.5 total, the Patriots don’t employ quality enough pass-catchers to support a big game from Newton through the air.

In fact, Newton has thrown for fewer than 215.5 yards in 6-of-8 games played this season. In those six games, he didn’t even come close to that total, passing for fewer than 174 yards in all six of those outings.

Hayden Hurst to get more than 38.8 receiving yards (-115)

I dont want to call this a lock, but I’m close. Hayden Hurst has been as consistent as they come in his first season with the Falcons. In nine games played this season, Hust would have gone over that 38.5 yard total six times, including in four straight games.

Hurst also gets the opportunity to produce in the Falcons’ high-octane passing attack. He’s received 6+ targets and caught 4+ passes in 6-of-9 games as well.

The Saints are allowing the eighth-most receptions (48) and the 13th most receiving yards (479) to enemy tight ends this season. They are yielding 53.2 yards per game to tight ends through nine-game played.

Ezekiel Elliott to get over 58.5 rushing yards (-115)

Ezekiel Elliott is having an awful season compared to what we normally expect. However, the Cowboys are getting healthier, which favors the once prominent rusher. With Andy Dalton returning, plus, all-world guard Zack Martin both in the lineup, the Dallas offense should not be as bad as it has looked sans Dak Prescott.

While Elliott has yet to rush for 100+ yards this season, he has rushed for Over 58.5 five times in nine games. Elliott, who has received 18+ carries in each of the past two games, should be able to exploit a Vikings defense allowing 96.8 rushing yards per game to opposing backs. The Vikings have allowed six different backs to rush for over 58.5 yards this season. In two career games against Minnesota, Elliott went for north of that total one time.
