The WM Phoenix Open is one of the most popular events on the PGA Tour, and as such, we’ll see a strong field descend on TPC Scottsdale during Super Bowl week.
Scottie Scheffler, fresh off his victory at the American Express, headlines a group of talented players that also includes Xander Schauffele and two-time Phoenix Open winners Hideki Matsuyama and Brooks Koepka.
Let’s take a look at the betting odds before digging into my 2026 WM Phoenix Open predictions.

2026 WM Phoenix Open Winner Predictions
Brooks Koepka (+3100)
WAGER: 0.75 Units
Koepka showed enough in his PGA Tour return last week at Torrey Pines to tempt me into betting him at one of his favorite courses.
His T-56 result wasn’t as inspiring as his overall statistical profile, which saw him rank 11th in the field in strokes gained from tee to green (+6.05). The reason he finished so low was his putting, as he lost more strokes on the greens (-7.22) than any other player.
Putting is the most likely stat to flip from week to week, and Koepka has historically enjoyed much more success with the flatstick at TPC Scottsdale.
I think the 2015 and 2021 Phoenix Open champion will be in the mix come Sunday afternoon, so I’m backing him to win with one of my best golf betting picks today.
Chris Gotterup (+3600)
WAGER: 0.75 Units
Gotterup’s play didn’t drop off significantly last week following his season-opening win at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
The 26-year-old ranked fifth in the field in strokes gained from tee to green (+7.80) and second in strokes gained off the tee (+3.86). Like Koepka, his T-18 finish had more to do with his putter (-2.06 SG) than the rest of his game.

Gotterup has failed to make the cut in two previous trips to TPC Scottsdale, but the course should be a strong fit for him given the way he hits it off the tee.
Given that and his impeccable recent form, this PGA Tour outright wager is worth a look.
2026 Farmers Insurance Open Best Bets
72-Hole Matchup: Haotong Li (-108) vs Garrick Higgo
WAGER: 1.08 Units
I don’t know why Haotong Li is a slight underdog in this tournament matchup prop against Garrick Higgo.
Li has enjoyed a strong start to the PGA Tour season, backing up a T-8 finish at the American Express with a T-11 at the Farmers last week.
Meanwhile, Higgo missed the cut at Torrey Pines following a Friday 78 that saw him lose 5.61 strokes to the field.
Li is clearly in better form right now, and he has a strong track record playing desert golf, having won DP World Tour events in Dubai and Qatar.
Look for the 30-year-old to keep the good vibes going in his WM Phoenix Open debut.
Top-10 Finish: Sahith Theegala (+400)
WAGER: 1 Unit
After a thoroughly disappointing 2025 PGA Tour season, Sahith Theegala is showing signs of a turnaround early in 2026.
The 28-year-old California native started the year with a T-31 finish at the Sony Open before coming inside the top 10 consecutively at the American Express (T-8) and Farmers (T-7).
Theegala has played well in Phoenix historically, making the cut in all four of his previous starts and posting a pair of top-five finishes in 2022 (T-3) and 2024 (solo fifth).
