2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Predictions: 4 Bets for Signature Event

Last Updated: 5 hours ago

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is the PGA Tour’s first signature event of the season, which means we’ll see 80 of the world’s top golfers tee it up in a four-round, no-cut event.

Defending champion Rory McIlroy will make his PGA Tour season debut after starting the year with two events in Dubai. Fellow Europeans Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood are also in the field, which will compete for $20 million in prize money and a winner’s check of $3.6 million.

Speaking of winners, I hit my first of the season last week at the WM Phoenix Open, as Chris Gotterup chased down Hideki Matsuyama on Sunday at TPC Scottsdale to force a playoff that he won on the opening hole.

Let’s see if I can keep the momentum going this week with my 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am predictions.

2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Winner Predictions

Russell Henley (+3000)

WAGER: 0.75 Units

Pebble Beach is one of the shortest courses on the PGA Tour, and it also features some of the smallest greens, so I’m prioritizing accuracy over distance this week.

Henley, who finished 12th in driving accuracy and third in proximity to the hole on approach shots last season, fits the bill.

The 36-year-old started the season with a pair of top-20 finishes at the Sony Open and American Express and posted his best result at this event last season, earning a share of fifth place.

By taking down last year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, Henley proved he can win these elevated events against the strongest fields, so I’m backing him with one of my best golf betting picks today.

Sepp Straka (+6300)

WAGER: 0.5 Units

After missing the cut in his season debut at the American Express, Straka rebounded with a T-18 finish in Phoenix last week.

Over four rounds, the Austrian gained the eighth-most strokes from tee to green (+8.61). However, he struggled on the greens, losing 2.92 strokes putting.

If Straka can get the flatstick back on track, he should contend at an event where he has finished inside the top 30 in each of his previous two trips, including a career-best T-7 last season.

At these longer odds, I’ll back Straka to pick up his third victory since the start of 2025.

2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Best Bets

72-Hole Matchup: Maverick McNealy (-112) vs Viktor Hovland

WAGER: 1.12 Units

Last week’s matchup prop produced one of the more painful results I’ve experienced, as Haotong Li bogeyed seven of his final nine holes on Friday to lose to Garrick Higgo by one shot. Let’s hope that Maverick McNealy can avoid a similar end.

The California native has been in top form to start the season, finishing T-24 or better in each of his three starts. Now, he’ll head to his home tournament, where he has a pair of previous top-five finishes (2020 and 2021).

Hovland is undoubtedly the higher caliber player in this matchup, but he doesn’t feel like as good of a course fit for Pebble Beach as McNealy. The Norwegian has two top-25 finishes at this event in four previous starts, never finishing higher than a tie for 13th.

Hovland beat McNealy by one shot last week in Phoenix, but I like the American to return the favor at Pebble.

Top-20 Finish: Daniel Berger (+158)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Berger will be a popular pick on PGA Tour betting cards this week.

The 32-year-old has three top-10 finishes in three career starts at this event, including a win in his most recent appearance in 2021.

Berger has also enjoyed some decent form to start the 2026 season, posting a T-6 finish at the Sony Open and a T-18 result at last week’s Phoenix Open, where he led the field in strokes gained approach (+6.92).

That combination of strong course history and recent form makes him a good bet to finish in the top 25% of this 80-man field.
