After a thrilling start to the golf season, we have reached the first major championship of 2026.
A tradition unlike any other, the Masters Tournament returns to Augusta National Golf Club this week, with Rory McIlroy looking to defend his title in a star-studded field of 91 players.
There are plenty of betting opportunities this week, so let’s dig into the odds board and my 2026 Masters predictions.

2026 Masters Tournament Winner Predictions
Cameron Young (+2200)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Cameron Young is playing the best golf of his career right now, making him a popular pick to win the Green Jacket this week.
The 28-year-old New York native broke through with a marquee victory at the Players Championship in his most recent outing, which followed up impressive results at the Genesis Invitational (T-7) and Arnold Palmer Invitational (T-3).
Young is making his fifth Masters start in 2026, having previously posted a pair of top-10 finishes in 2023 and 2024. Overall, he has six top-10 finishes at major championships in the past four years, and his Ryder Cup experience last fall will have gone a long way in preparing him for these big moments.
With various questions facing the field’s elite players this week, I’m backing Young to win his first major with one of my best golf betting picks today.
Patrick Reed (+4200)
WAGER: 0.75 Units
These odds are too long for someone playing as well as the 2018 Masters champion.
Reed left LIV Golf in January with the intention of returning to the PGA Tour in August. In the meantime, he has made a triumphant return to the DP World Tour, with wins in Dubai and Qatar this winter sandwiching a playoff loss in Bahrain.

The 35-year-old, who won two National Championships at Augusta State University, has typically peaked at the Masters regardless of his lead-in form. Reed has four top-10 finishes at Augusta National GC in the last six years, never finishing worse than a tie for 35th.
He clearly feels comfortable here and should be confident heading into this week, making these 42-1 odds worth a wager.
2026 Masters Tournament Best Bets
72-Hole Matchup: Corey Conners (-116) vs Tyrrell Hatton
WAGER: 1 Unit
Tyrrell Hatton is the higher pedigree player in this matchup, but I’m backing Corey Conners over the Englishman this week at Augusta National.
Hatton’s results on LIV Golf haven’t been overly inspiring. He has finished outside the top 35 in three of five events, which isn’t great considering the fields feature only 52 golfers.
Conners hasn’t been much better on the PGA Tour this season, but his last two starts at the Players (T-13) and Valspar (T-14) offer some hope that he’s turning a corner.
Plus, the Canadian has a way better track record at the Masters than Hatton, having finished in the top 10 in four of the last six years. Meanwhile, Hatton has just one career top-10 finish at Augusta in nine career starts.
Top-20 Finish: Robert MacIntyre (+100)
WAGER: 1 Unit
Few players have better lead-in form without a win this season than McIntyre, who has finished no worse than a tie for 38th in seven starts on the PGA Tour.
That run features four top-20 finishes, including a T-2 last week at the Valero Texas Open and a solo fourth at the Players Championship in March.
The 29-year-old Scotsman mixed in the final two major championships of 2025, finishing second at the U.S. Open and T-7 at the Open Championship. He missed the cut at the Masters last year, but finished T-12 on his debut in 2021 and T-23 the following year.
Augusta National has always been kind to left-handers, which should help MacIntyre find his way onto the first two pages of the leaderboard come Sunday.
