Tyreek Hill 2021 Fantasy Football Tip
Tyreek Hill 2020 Fantasy Football Recap
Hill bounced back from an injury-shortened 2019 to play 15 games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020. In the process, he tied a career-high in receptions and set a new high-water mark in receiving touchdowns. The speedster didn’t have as many 100-yard games as in past seasons and didn’t record his first until Week 9, but along with tight end Travis Kelce, he was once again the Chiefs’ most prolific receiving weapon and memorably turned in a 13-catch, 269-yard, three-touchdown effort in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tyreek Hill 2021 Fantasy Football Outlook
The Chiefs parted ways with veteran wideout Sammy Watkins this offseason, and although he logged a modest 55 targets through 10 games last season, his absence further dings the depth of a group that Hill still unequivocally spearheads. Kansas City didn’t make any notable offseason additions at wideout, either, instead opting to count on Mecole Hardman to step into Watkins’ old No. 2 role full-time and relying on the likes of journeyman Demarcus Robinson and the largely unproven Byron Pringle as the likely No. 3 and No. 4 options.
Consequently, there shouldn’t be any concerns about a significant decline in Hill’s 22.2% team target share from last season, and the 36.1% share of the team’s air yards he commanded should also hold up very well. Hardman’s presence as the No. 2, which should naturally have the speedster on the field more frequently, may take a handful of deep targets away from Hill over the course of the season. Conversely, if Hardman proves up to the task, it could certainly help open up more advantageous coverage scenarios for the veteran.

Tyreek Hill 2021 Fantasy Football Draft Value (PPR)
With 901 snaps from scrimmage a year ago, Hill came within just six of matching a career-high. There’s no tangible reason to believe he won’t approach the same usage this season, and if he’s able to even slightly improve on 2020’s 64.4% catch rate, Hill could certainly cross the 90-reception threshold for the first time in his storied career. Moreover, a repeat or approximation of last season’s career-high 22 red-zone touches would give Hill a realistic chance at his third career double-digit touchdown haul.
