We’re almost at the end of the NCAA Tournament, but we’ve got an intriguing matchup on tap in NC State vs Purdue in the Final Four.

The Wolfpack have been the Cinderella story of the tournament, starting with an ACC title win that has culminated in a Final Four berth in March Madness.

In this article, you’ll read my best bet, longshot, and same game parlay for NC State vs Purdue.

With that in mind, let’s take a closer look into our March Madness parlays for this Final Four matchup.

March Madness Purdue vs NC State Parlays

Frank Ammirante 2024 March Madness Parlays Record: 5-7 (+1.43 units)

All CBB odds used for March Madness parlay bets are current as of 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 2, and are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Purdue vs NC State Top Parlay (+180)

WAGER: 1 Unit • DraftKings Sportsbook

  • Purdue -3 (-320)
  • NC State Over 68.5 Points (-115)

N.C. State vs Purdue Top Parlay

I like to choose two legs that contradict each other when building my single game parlays because that gives you better odds.

The key is to choose two picks that are firmly within range despite their negative correlation.

I found a nice one that checks these boxes with Purdue -3 and NC State Over 68.5 Points. If I took NC State to go Under their team total, I’d get (+108) instead of (+180) odds.

I’m getting a better potential payout here because if Purdue wins by more than three, the algorithm assumes that NC State would score less tan their team total. However, 3+ points is still a close game, so it’s perfectly reasonable for the Wolfpack to still score 69+ points.

I’m on Purdue to win by three or more points because of Zach Edey’s dominance on the interior.

I’m rolling with NC State to go Over 68.5 points because Purdue’s weakness is on defense (16th per KenPom) more than offense (2nd).

Purdue vs NC State Longshot Parlay (+900)

WAGER: 0.1 Units • DraftKings Sportsbook

  • Purdue -14.5 (+215)
  • NC State Over 68.5 Points (-115)

N.C. State vs Purdue Longshot Parlay

Let’s boost the potential profit on our longshot parlay by taking two more uncorrelated outcomes.

I’ll kick it off with Purdue to win by 15 or more points. The Boilermakers have some blowout wins on their schedule, including a 106-67 lopsided victory over Utah State in the Round of 32.

I’ll include NC State to eclipse 68.5 points since it gives me a (+900) payout. If I were to take the Under, this parlay would have (+270) odds.

The reason for this odds boost is because if Purdue wins by 15 or more, you’re likely to see NC State fail to go Over their team total.

But I don’t think it’s wild to see NC State lose something like 85-70, especially considering the Boilermakers second-ranked offense, per KenPom.

Purdue has a couple of games that came close to hitting this parlay, including their aforementioned 106-67 win over Utah State along with a 96-68 victory over Rutgers on February 22.

This parlay looks within the range of outcomes, so let’s sprinkle on this longshot at (+900) odds.

Purdue vs NC State Same Game Parlay (+300)

WAGER: 0.5 Units • DraftKings Sportsbook

  • Zach Edey Over 25.5 Points (-130)
  • Lance Jones Over 2.5 Rebounds (-155)
  • D.J. Burns Jr. Over 2.5 Assists (-175)

N.C. State vs Purdue Same Game Parlay

The NC State vs Purdue Same Game Parlay features two Boilermakers and one Wolfpack player prop.

Zach Edey has been an absolute machine throughout the tournament, putting up 40, 27, 23, and 30 points in their four wins. Getting 26+ points may be an easy task for this imposing center.

Lance Jones averaged 2.7 rebounds per game, so that’s already above his 2.5 rebounds prop. The senior guard has eclipse this number in two of four tourney games.

D.J. Burns Jr. has put up three, seven, and four assists in his last three tourney matchups. Coming off a win over Duke where he scored 29, we could see Purdue devote defensive attention to Burns, giving him more opportunities for assists.
