The regular season is over, but that doesn’t mean the fantasy football competition has to come to an end! I know that if you’ve been following my advice closely, you’ve been dominating this season because that’s how my results have been.
Welcome to Super Bowl 58 and as an unabashed San Francisco 49ers fan, I’m finally allowing a bit of homerism to tint my view of this matchup. I’m looking forward to my guys sticking it to Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Superflex Fantasy Football Advice & Tips
What is a superflex fantasy football league?
A superflex fantasy football league is a variant format where a quarterback can be started at the flex position. This gives fantasy managers the option to start two quarterbacks every week. Fantasy football rankings for a 1QB league should not be used in a superflex or 2QB league.
What is a 2QB fantasy football league?
A 2QB fantasy football league is a variant format where each team must start two quarterbacks.
Which scoring system to use in superflex and 2QB leagues?
- Half-point 0.5 PPR Scoring:

- Superflex starting lineup
- 1 QB
- 2 RB
- 3 WR
- 1 TE
- 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
- 1 Superflex (QB/RB/WR/TE)
- 1 K
- 1 DST
- 2QB starting lineup

Superflex and 2QB leagues demand more consideration be made for the quarterback position. At a minimum, you should roster three quarterbacks.
In a 12-team league, if every team has three quarterbacks, that’s 36 QBs total. That’s more than there are teams in the NFL, so inevitably, some teams may not have a backup who is a starter.
Since one flex spot is dedicated to starting a quarterback, depending on your starting lineup settings, you’ll likely be starting three RBs or four WRs every week. Maximize the value of your starters by using draft capital on starters instead of drafting a fifth WR before your third RB and so on.
You don’t want to be one of those teams. If you need to start a kicker and team defense, it’s critical you do not have any backup kickers or team defenses on your roster. All backup spots should be committed to QB, RB, WR, and TE, in that order of importance.
