Introducing Novig Sportsbook
Novig is among the new social sportsbooks in the US. It was launched in 2024, and since then, it has been one of my favorite social sportsbooks. As a social sportsbook, it uses a virtual currency system, so you don’t need to fund your account to make picks.
Rather than using your actual funds, you’ll be given Novig Coins and Novig Cash to make sports predictions. Its virtual currency system is one of the reasons it’s legally accessible in most US states. What sets Novig apart from other top social sportsbooks is that the house isn’t always the one you predict against.
It also offers a peer-to-peer bet exchange where you can adjust the social sportsbooks’ odds to your preference and match them against those of other bettors. When I tested this feature, I noticed that my customized odds could be shared with friends and other bettors. This feature is one of the reasons why I consider Novig to be one of the best social sportsbooks in the US.
Is Novig Legit and Safe for US Bettors?
Yes, Novig is a legitimate social sportsbook for US bettors. As a social sportsbook, it doesn’t hold a gaming license like traditional sportsbooks. Instead, it adheres to US sweepstakes laws and uses virtual currencies instead of real money. Simply put, you can’t expect the traditional offers here, nor transactions that appear normally on those real money sites.
During my Novig Sportsbook review, I confirmed that it’s owned and operated by Novig Sweeps LLC. You can find this information in its terms and conditions and sweepstakes rules. As other Novig reviews confirm, it’s legal in over 35 US states, but only bettors aged 21 and above can join.
When it comes to overall security, Novig performs strict Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to prevent fraudsters and minors from accessing it. Also, it uses advanced SSL encryption to secure the information of its bettors. These are the reasons why I regard Novig among the legal social sportsbooks in the US.
Can You Win Real Money Prizes at Novig Sportsbook?
Yes, you can win real money prizes at Novig through Novig Cash. Like I mentioned earlier, Novig has two virtual currencies: Novig Coins and Novig Cash. Though both are used to make sports picks, they function differently.
Novig Coins are strictly for fun betting only. I used them to try out different sports predictions, but winnings from them aren’t eligible for real money prizes. Alternatively, Novig Cash is used to make sports predictions in sweepstakes mode. If you make successful sports picks with your Novig Cash, they’ll become eligible for prize redemption.
To redeem, you need at least 20 Novig Cash with 1x playthrough. After which, you can redeem them for cash prizes at Novig’s specified rate. At the time of writing this Novig Sportsbook review, it only supports straight redemptions to your bank account through Trustly. From my experience, it took about two working days to receive my cash prize.
The Novig Sign-up Bonus for New Bettors
After signing up, Novig awards its new bettors with 1,000 Novig Coins and 5 Novig Cash. When I claimed the welcome bonus, I didn’t have to enter any Novig promo code. As soon as I signed up, I received my virtual currencies without having to make an upfront Novig Coin pack purchase.
With the welcome bonus, I went on to making my picks right away. I made sports predictions on the NFL and NBA. Novig’s no-purchase welcome bonus is one of the reasons it falls under the legal no-purchase social sportsbooks in the US. Any site that requires purchases before you play isn’t a legitimate social sportsbook.
Daily Login Bonuses
Novig offers daily login bonuses to its new and returning bettors. For starters, its login bonus is a progressive one. However, it’s not similar to the progressive login bonus at other popular social sportsbooks, which increases daily.
I received 2 Novig Cash on my first login. Then, it increased to 4 Novig Cash after logging in for 15 consecutive days, and finally 10 Novig Cash for 25 straight log-ins. It’s progressive, but different from the usual daily login bonus.
First Purchase Offer
For my first Novig Coin pack purchase, I received a first purchase bonus offering 50% extra on Novig Coins. Not only did I get extra Novig Coins, but I also received Novig Cash as a complimentary bonus for making this purchase.
Still, please note that Novig Coin pack purchases are optional and not mandatory. You should only consider them if you’re running low or want to stretch your gameplay.
Available Novig Promotions to Claim
Beyond the welcome offers and daily login bonus, Novig also offers other promotions to its bettors. Some of these include:
- Leaderboards for top prizes
- Social media contests
- Alternative mode of entry (AMOE) for Novig Cash bonus
- Refer a friend bonus
- Parlay boosts
My Experience Using the Novig App
While conducting this review, I learned that Novig is a mobile-centric social sportsbook. It’s available to both iOS and Android social bettors alike. The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.
Downloading the app is straightforward; open your phone’s app store, search Novig, and hit the Get button (iPhone) or Install button (Android). Once it finishes installing, launch the app and sign up to start making sports predictions.
Regarding usability, the app was responsive and easy to use. I could spot my balance at the top, and it took just a tap to switch between my Novig Coins and Novig Cash. In Novig Coins mode, the app features a dark background with yellow accents, whereas in Novig Cash mode, the accents become blue.
Underneath my balance were the various leagues where I can make predictions, such as the NFL, NBA, and NCAAF, among others. The main center focuses on match fixtures, and I could clearly see the betting markets and odds along each game.
At the bottom is a hamburger menu where all the events are tucked in. Also, My Rewards, Account, Portfolio, and Purchase were in the bottom menu. When I tested the app, matches were added to my bet slip in the blink of an eye without any lag.
Social Sports Betting Experience at Novig
A highlight for me at Novig was the sports betting experience. Generally, the app was intuitive and user-friendly. Making predictions was straightforward, and one of my best features was the ability to customize my odds for predictions and compete against other bettors.
As I mentioned earlier, Novig offers peer-to-peer bet exchanges that allow you to adjust the odds to your preference. All I had to do was change the prediction type to ‘Make Order’ in my bet slip and enter the odds I wanted. You can also use this feature for live betting.
Is Novig Sportsbook Worth It?
Yes, Novig is a social sportsbook worth trying out. Here, you don’t have to worry about using real money thanks to its virtual currencies: Novig Coins and Novig Cash. Plus, you still redeem your eligible Novig Cash for real cash prizes.
Also, you can customize odds for your predictions and match them against those of other bettors. This unique feature adds a twist to its social betting experience. Plus, it’s not something you encounter every day in a social sportsbook.
The downsides include limited redemption methods and the absence of a VIP program. Still, Novig is a sportsbook worth considering.
How to Join Novig Social Sportsbook
You can create your Novig account in less than two minutes. Here’s how I did mine:
- Tap the banners on this page to visit the Novig website.
- Use the download links on the website to install the app on your phone.
- Follow the prompts on your screen to set up your account
- Accept the terms and conditions, and submit the form.
- Finally, verify your account.
Once your account has been verified, you’ll receive a no-purchase welcome bonus of 1,000 Novig Coins + 5 Novig Cash to start making sports predictions right away.
Available Novig Purchase and Redemption Methods
Another key aspect I considered in my Novig Sportsbook review was the type of purchase and redemption method Novig offered its social bettors. Here’s what I found:
Purchase Methods
These are the available payment methods I found for Novig Coin pack purchases:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex)
- Aeropay
- Trustly
Generally, Novig Coin pack purchases are instant, and you can purchase a Novig Coin pack for as low as $5. This $5 Novig Coin pack will get you 5,000 Novig Coins (+ 5 bonus Novig Cash)
Redemption Methods
You can only redeem your eligible Novig Cash via bank transfers using Trustly. Also, a minimum of 20 Novig Cash that has been played through is required before you can place a redemption fee.
Once you fulfill these requirements, you can exchange them for cash prizes. Typically, it takes up to two working days to receive prizes. I wasn’t charged any fee while redeeming my eligible Novig Cash. However, it is worth noting that in Novig’s sweepstakes rules, the right to charge a fee for prize redemption remains at the sole discretion of the site.
Sports Offerings at Novig
During my Novig sportsbook review, I discovered that Novig supports in-play betting and it offers a wide range of betting markets, including props, overs, totals, spreads, and moneylines.
These markets cover over eight sports categories, including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, tennis, hockey, and more. It also covers major leagues and events in these categories. Some of these include:
- NFL
- NBA
- UFC
- MLB
- NHL
- NCAAF
- WNBA
- ATP
- WTA
Rewards System – No Novig VIP Program
At the time of writing my Novig Sportsbook review, I didn’t find a VIP program. I also can’t confirm if one is in the works. However, if one truly is in the works, I’ll be sure to update my review.
Multiple Customer Support Channels at Novig
If there’s one area Novig performs well, it’s its customer service. If you’re experiencing issues, you can contact Novig via email, 24/7 live chat, or phone. It’s worth mentioning that you can even reach its agents via its social media platforms on Instagram, Discord, and X.
When I tested live chat, I got connected to an agent right away, not a bot. The responses were clear and helpful. Notably, I got responses within a minute. For emails, it was a bit slower; however, I got responses within 24 hours. Still, the response was polite and thorough.
Besides all these support channels, Novig has a very comprehensive help centre packed with helpful articles addressing various concerns, such as redemptions, promotions, payments, and more. You’ll also find the FAQs section helpful.

Conclusion – Novig is a Reliable Social Sportsbook
From my review, Novig is clearly worth considering. It’s legally accessible in 35+ states and offers a low minimum redemption threshold of 20 Novig Cash, allowing you to redeem real prizes quickly. Likewise, the ability to customize odds and match them against those of other bettors is a nice touch to its social betting experience.
However, there’s still room for improvement, especially regarding the available purchase and redemption methods. I believe adding more options, such as PayPal, Skrill, and Venmo, can significantly increase its ratings among social bettors. Coming up with a VIP program would go a long way; that way, bettors will feel appreciated for spending time on the site.
Overall, Novig is a reliable social sportsbook, and it’s worth trying out. Don’t forget you’ll receive a welcome bonus of 1,000 Novig Coins and 5 Novig Cash when you sign up. You’ll also get a first purchase bonus offering 50% extra on Novig Coins. If you’re interested, then click the links on this page to visit Novig and register today.
