In an early battle of unbeatens, the New Orleans Saints (1-0) will visit the Dallas Cowboys (1-0) this Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. ET.
The Saints picked up the most lopsided victory of Week 1, steamrolling the Panthers 47-10. Meanwhile, the Cowboys made short work of the Browns, forcing two turnovers en route to a 33-17 victory.
This is projected to be a close, high-scoring contest. Check out the latest Saints vs Cowboys odds, as well as my predictions and best bets for this Week 2 clash.

Saints vs Cowboys Prediction
Cowboys 24, Saints 20
The Saints looked unstoppable in Week 1, but how much of that had to do with their opponent? The Panthers were an NFL-worst 2-15 in 2023, and they looked even worse on Sunday, amassing just 193 total yards and committing three turnovers.
New Orleans has a much more difficult challenge ahead in Week 2, but there’s reason to believe it can keep this one close. Despite their 9-8 record, the Saints ranked inside the top 10 in points for and against this past season, and this receiving corps — while young — has a solid veteran to lean on in Derek Carr.
With that said, I would be surprised if the Cowboys lost this game. Dak Prescott was unremarkable in Week 1, but Cleveland is a tough nut to crack, and this offense should look much more explosive at home against a more manageable opponent.
The Saints have the playmakers to keep this one competitive, and I would underestimate this team at your own risk. Dallas is a Super Bowl contender, though, and can rely on its superior talent on both sides of the ball to squeak by at home.

Saints vs Cowboys Best Bets
Saints +6 (-110) @ Cowboys
The Saints could have trouble passing beyond the sticks and challenging this Dallas secondary, but they can have plenty of success establishing the run and picking up first downs behind Alvin Kamara. The five-time Pro-Bowl RB logged an efficient 110 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in Week 1.
This New Orleans defense can also be disruptive behind veterans like Cameron Jordan, Marshon Lattimore, and Tyrann Mathieu. This unit may not be young, but it didn’t allow many rushing touchdowns last season, and it generated 29 takeaways, too.
Don’t be surprised if this ends up being closer than anticipated. The Cowboys are great, but the Saints won’t go away easily. Back New Orleans to cover as 6-point underdogs with your NFL bet of the day.
Under 47 Points (-112)
These teams combined to score 80 points in Week 1, and there’s no denying that those results have pushed this total beyond a reasonable margin. It’s also continued to rise, sitting now at 47 points after opening at 44.5.
However, you can rest assured that the Saints won’t have another 47-point performance against this Dallas defense, and if the Cowboys commit a turnover or two, they likely won’t be in for 30-plus again, either.
The value is on the Under. You can wait until the game gets closer to see if this line keeps climbing, but I’m content to place my bet now.
