Here’s a collection of Week 3 Game Recaps from around the NFL. Here, we highlight the top stories, plays and moments from each Sundahy football game.

Week 3 Game Recaps
Buffalo Bills 35, Los Angeles Rams 32
This wild affair saw the Rams (2-1) come back to erase a 25-point deficit, only for the Bills (3-0) to get the last word with a Josh Allen-to-Tyler Kroft TD pass with 15 seconds left.
Buffalo remains undefeated after Allen threw 4 TDs, plus 311 yards, and ran for a fifth score. The Rams scored four unanswered TDs to gain a 32-28 after a touchdown from Darrell Henderson (114 yards on 20 carries). Jared Goff dealt 321 passing yards and 2 TDs while also rushing for a score.
TOP PLAY: Allen’s clutch TD toss to Kroft — their second such pairing of the day, ended a wild one:
BETTING RESULTS: The Bills snuck away to cover -2, and the Allen-Goff duel helped push Over 47.
San Francisco 49ers 36, New York Giants 9
Nick Mullens led the injury-riddled Niners (2-1) with 343 passing yards, including touchdowns to Jeff Wilson and Jerick McKinnon.
The Giants (0-3) were held to 231 offensive yards.
TOP PLAY: Rookie wideout Brandon Aiyuk carried this end-around to the house.
BETTING RESULTS: The Niners covered at -3.5. The Over 42.5 hit.
Pittsburgh Steelers 28, Houston Texans 21
James Conner‘s 109-yard rushing day included the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter to lift the Steelers to 3-0 and send the Texans to 0-3.
TOP PLAY: Mike Hilton delivers a key interception of Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson that led to the Steelers’ game-winning scoring drive.
BETTING RESULTS: The Steelers covered -4. The Conner touchdown pushed the total to the Over 46.
Cleveland Browns 34, Washington Football Team 20
It was the Nick Chubb show again, as the Browns running back churned out 108 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. Cleveland moves to 2-1, Washington drops to 1-2.
Washington hung around and led 20-17 into the fourth quarter; Dontrelle Inman caught a pair of TDs, but Dwayne Haskins threw 3 interceptions on the day to help give this one away.
TOP PLAY: Chubb carved up the gut of Washington’s defense on his first 6-pointer of the day:
BETTING RESULTS: The Browns covered the -7.5 spread. The Over 45 also came through.
Tennessee Titans 31, Minnesota Vikings 30
Stephen Gostkowski exorcised some of his early-season demons by making six field goals, including the game-winning 55-yarder with 1:44 left to lift Tennessee to a 3-0 record to start the season. Derrick Henry also provided 119 rushing yards and 2 TDs, while Kalif Raymond had 118 receiving yards.
Despite a 181-yard, 1-TD day from Dalvin Cook; a 3-TD aerial day from Kirk Cousins; and a 7-catch, 175-yard, 1-TD breakout from rookie wideout Justin Jefferson, the Vikings fell to 0-3 as their defense failed to provide any resistance.
TOP PLAY: Sunday, Tennessee spelled redemption G-O-S-T-K-O-W-S-K-I.
BETTING RESULTS: The Vikings covered +3 despite losing. Both offenses made sure they easily cleared the 49.5 Over/Under.
New England Patriots 36, Las Vegas Raiders 20
Cam Newton struggled under center, but the Patriots (2-1) got by: Rex Burkhead took control with a 98-yard, 3-TD offensive day, while Sony Michel ran for 117 yards on just 9 carries.
The Raiders (2-1) got an 84-yard, 1-TD day from Hunter Renfrow, but the Pats’ elite pass defense silenced TE Darren Waller (2 catches, 9 yards) while containing Derek Carr to 261 passing yards.
TOP PLAY: New England squashed a Vegas rally with what was originally ruled as a safety but was eventually determined to be a strip-sack touchdown by Deatrich Wise to give the Patriots a 36-13 lead.
BETTING RESULTS: New England covers at -6, and the two clubs hit the Over 47.
Philadelphia Eagles 23, Cincinnati Bengals 23
Yep, a tie: Carson Wentz (sort of) made up for a horrendous first three quarters by running for a touchdown from 7 yards out to tie the game with 21 seconds left. The two clubs would wrap the stalemate with a scoreless overtime.
Wentz totaled just 225 yards on a 29-for-47 day, though Miles Sanders rushed for 95 yards. Tyler Boyd‘s 125 receiving yards made up most of Joe Burrow‘s 312-yard day, but rookie Tee Higgins caught both of Burrow’s scoring throws.
TOP PLAY: Wentz evades defenders to open up a run around the tackle to tie things up in the waning seconds of regulation:
BETTING RESULTS: The Bengals +4.5 covered, and the clubs came up just toward the Under 47.5.
Chicago Bears 30, Atlanta Falcons 26
The Falcons blew another one in the fourth quarter, letting the Bears erode a 16-point advantage over the last 6 1/3 minutes. Chicago made the switch at quarterback to Nick Foles over a healthy Mitchell Trubisky in the second half, and Foles delivered 3 TDs, including a strike to Anthony Miller with 1:53 left that would prove to be the winner.
This is a blow to the Falcons (0-3), who wilted late for the second striaght game, following its collapse due to an onside-kick recovery by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. Atlanta running backs Todd Gurley (80 yards, 1 TD) and Brian Hill (58 yards, 1 TD) set a winning tone, and Calvin Ridley made up for Julio Jones‘ absence with his third straight 100-plus-yard receiving day.
TOP PLAY: Foles. Miller. Falcons collapse again.
BETTING RESULTS: The Bears’ upset helped them cover +3. Even before the game-winning play, the Over 47 had hit.
Indianapolis Colts 36, New York Jets 7
The Jets (0-3) secured a first-quarter touchdown to tie this 7-7, but the Colts (2-1) scored the final 29 points to run away with this one.
Indy’s defense returned two interceptions of Sam Darnold for a touchdown and brought him down for a fourth-quarter safety.
TOP PLAY: The second Pick-6 off Darnold, taken to the house by T.J. Carrie, put a bow on this one as the third quarter ended:
BETTING RESULTS: Indy went big and covered a spread of -11.5 but couldn’t single-handedly carry the Over/Under of 44.
Detroit Lions 26, Arizona Cardinals 23
The Lions (1-2) surprised in this road effort for their first win of the season. Matthew Stafford went for 270 yards and 2 TDs, and he led the drive with less than 2 minutes left for the game-winning field goal by Matt Prater as time expired.
Despite his often jaw-dropping play, Kyler Murray looked young in this one with 3 interceptions that negated his 270 passing yards, 2 TD connections wtih Andy Isabella, and his rushing score. DeAndre Hopkins was his favorite target again with 10 catches and 137 yards.
TOP PLAY: Prater … for the win.
BETTING RESULTS: Detroit covered +5.5 with the outright victory, but the clubs fell short of the 55.5 total.
Carolina Panthers 21, Los Angeles Chargers 16
Carolina (1-2) got 5 field goals from Joey Slye, and the Panthers defense tamed rookie Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, despite allowing 330 yards that were pumped up from garbage-time work.
Mike Davis, the Panthers’ top replacement for Christian McCaffrey (ankle), scored the Panthers’ only touchdown on a 13-yard pass. Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen found the end zone for Los Angeles (1-2) in the losing effort.
TOP PLAY: David could be a strong fantasy starting option for as long as McCaffrey is sidelined. Here are a few of his highlights, including his TD grab-and-run:
BETTING RESULTS: The Panthers jumped the +6.5 spread by winning outright. These clubs crawled to the Under 43.5.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28, Denver Broncos 10
Tom Brady is finding his groove in his third game with the Bucs (2-1). He dumped 297 yards and 3 TDs while breaking his long-held curse of slumping in the Mile High city. Of course, these Broncos (0-3) were led by Jeff Driskel and Brett Rypien under center and had little answer for the Bucs defense (6 sacks, 2 INTs, 1 safety).
Mike Evans made the most of his two 1-yard catches, putting both in the end zone. Chris Godwin went 5-64-1.
TOP PLAY: Unfortunately, Godwin, who had just returned from missing Week 2 with a concussion, left the game due to a hamstring pull. He at least got to squeeze in this score in the first quarter:
BETTING RESULTS: Tompa Bay easily covered their -6 line, but Denver failed to uphold its end of the Over/Under of 42.5.
Seattle Seahawks 38, Dallas Cowboys 31
Russell Wilson (315 yards) now has thrown 5 TDs in each of his past two games and at least 4 in all three games this year. The Seahawks (3-0) peppered the Cowboys’ (1-2) weak secondary all day, and even could’ve won by much more had DK Metcalf not dropped the ball before crossing the goal line in a premature celebration.
Metcalf led the Seahawks with 110 yards, and Tyler Lockett hauled in 3 TDs from Wilson on 9 catches and 100 yards.
Dak Prescott threw for 472 yards and 3 TDs (including 5 catches, 107 yards, and 2 TDs by Cedrick Wilson and 6-138-1 for Michael Gallup) while keeping pace but fell short in this shootout.
TOP PLAY: Metcalf made up for that Leon Lett tribute gaffe by hauling in the game-winning toss with 1:47 left.
BETTING RESULTS: Seattle covered its -5 spread, and this matchup of potent offenses rocketed past the 57.5 Over/Under.
