The NFL will have three games on Christmas Day, culminating with the Denver Broncos visiting the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC West showdown.
Of course, the Chiefs are without quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who tore his ACL against the Chargers in Week 15. To make matters worse for Kansas City, backup Gardner Minshew suffered a left knee injury last week against the Tennessee Titans.
That leaves 2022 seventh-round pick Chris Oladokun in line to make his first NFL start on Christmas Day.
With that in mind, continue reading below to see my best Thursday Night Football prop bets for Broncos vs Chiefs.
Best Thursday Night Football Prop Bets for Broncos vs Chiefs
All NFL odds used for these TNF player props bets are current as of Tuesday, Dec. 23, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
R.J. Harvey: Anytime TD (-115)
Harvey has scored five times over his last four games, including at least once in each of those contests.
Now, he’ll face a Chiefs defense as a near two-touchdown favorite on the road.
Without J.K. Dobbins (foot) on the field, Harvey has received 76.2% of the Broncos’ running back carries.
Additionally, wide receiver Pat Bryant suffered a serious injury in Week 16, so he won’t be on the field. When he’s not on the field, Harvey ranks fourth on the team in targets (29), but has scored the most touchdowns in the passing game (four).
Harvey scoring is my NFL pick of the day, as he should get well over 20 touches.
Chris Oladokun: Over 17.5 Pass Completions (+101)
This line opened at 15.5, which I felt much better about, but I’m still willing to take a chance on this prop as one of my three best bets for Thursday Night Football.
Last week, Oladokun completed 11-of-16 passes (68.8%) for 111 yards in relief of Minshew. He averaged just 6.9 yards per attempt, but still completed a fair number of passes.
Once again, the Chiefs are massive underdogs, so he’ll be forced to throw. It may not be pretty, but he’s in a good spot to complete 18 passes or more.

Kareem Hunt: 15+ Rushing Yards (-210)
While Hunt has had a rough go of things over the last two weeks, rushing nine times for 14 total yards, the 15-yard mark should be manageable.
Over the last three weeks, Hunt has received 40.4% of the Chiefs’ running back carries.

A few weeks back, in a 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans, a defense that’s similar in strength to the Broncos, he ran 12 times for 30 yards and a touchdown.
I expect the Chiefs to try to run the ball early against Denver. Hunt’s opportunities will eventually fade as the Broncos start to pull away, but Hunt could get to 15 yards in just a few carries.
My Three-Leg TNF Parlay for Broncos vs Chiefs in Week 17 (+415)
