Coming off an incredible 18-inning classic in which the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 in Game 3 of the World Series after Freddie Freeman’s walk-off home run, Shohei Ohtani will take the mound in Game 4 tonight against Blue Jays starter Shane Bieber.
In Game 3 as a hitter, Ohtani went 4 for 4 with two doubles, two home runs, three RBIs, and five walks.
In his last outing as a pitcher, he went six innings, allowing just two hits and zero earned runs in a 5-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.
Below, I’ll focus on Shohei Ohtani prop bets for World Series Game 4, including as a pitcher and as a hitter. Let’s dive in.
Shohei Ohtani Prop Bets for World Series Game 4
All MLB odds used for these Shohei Ohtani prop bets are current as of Tuesday, Oct. 28, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Shohei Ohtani: 6+ Strikeouts (-220) vs Blue Jays
Leading off my Shohei Ohtani props is his pitching ability and the likelihood that he will strike out six or more batters.
Over their last three games, the Blue Jays are averaging 9.33 strikeouts per game. Of course, that’s somewhat propped up by an 18-inning Game 3, but in Game 2, they struck out eight times, all at the hands of Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
Over his last five starts, Ohtani has had six strikeouts or more three times. The two times he fell short, he had five after going five innings against the Philadelphia Phillies and 3.2 innings against the Baltimore Orioles.
In his most recent start, he had 10 against the Milwaukee Brewers.
As far as Shohei Ohtani pitching props go, this is the only one on this list.
Shohei Ohtani: Over 0.5 Hits (-183) vs Blue Jays
For the next installment of my Shohei Ohtani World Series prop picks, I’ll take him to have at least one hit.
Admittedly, I’m a bit cautious of the one because, one, he could be a bit tired after hitting two home runs and two doubles last night, but also, the Blue Jays may look to walk him intentionally.
After all, in Game 3, he had five walks.
Still, with the way this Dodgers lineup is constructed, it may be difficult to walk him intentionally. He typically leads off and has Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman hitting directly behind him.
Ohtani has had at least one hit in each of his last six games. He’ll have at least one here.

Shohei Ohtani: 1+ Strikeouts (-146) vs Blue Jays
One of the best Shohei Ohtani props tonight, believe it or not, is for him to strike out.
Over his career, Ohtani has struck out six times against Bieber across 13 at-bats. In fact, he’s tied with Teoscar Hernandez for the most strikeouts on the Dodgers’ roster against Bieber.
Bieber has had some decent strikeout numbers lately, with 13 over his last two starts.
This postseason, Ohtani has struck out 19 across 13 games.
Given his history against Bieber and pitching and hitting coming off an 18-inning Game 3, a strikeout makes sense.
